I recently got a wonderful chance to go to Animazement for the weekend. It was... well... amazing! Dunno if you guys had been to an anime convention before. If so, please share; what was it like? Did you cosplay? Was there a particularly exciting moment that stood out? Did anything weird happen? What was the coolest cosplay you saw? Anything along those lines... As for me... I cosplayed as a female Quincy (Bleach) that I designed, and also from Bleach, Uryuu Ishida, a messed up Halloween costume held together entirely with hot glue that I recycled. I know I'll look back on this and laugh, but it was really annoying: the hotel was having some power outage problems. Therefore, the power went out for a while, causing the fire alarm to go off. At 7:00 in the morning. I'm not a morning person. First of all, I didn't know whether to run down the stairs for my life or just say screw it and take my time. I had no idea that it wasn't a real fire. Not to mention that we were on the 8th floor and we had to go down 8 flights of stairs... and then back up again 10 minutes later once they'd confirmed that there wasn't a real fire. But other than that it was awesome. They really need to get a new hotel...
Do you have any convention experiences that you'd like to share? Here is the place to do it. ^_^

this thread never really lived its life, but I'm moving it to the dead zone... it did die in vain...
