Who has used Geogebra? I think that's how it is spelled. I have heard that it can help you create functions and graphs, but I never had the chance to use it, and I don't have Java installed on my computer, and I don't want to install Java just for one use.
Have you ever made a hot dog cooker before using parabolas or do you make hot dog cookers using pizza box ovens?
Have you ever tried using integration to find the area of a round, squash-like shape of your patio and argued with the landscape planner that she or he had calculated wrongly?
Can you use Calculus to build a bridge?
I once saw on PBS TV show that triangles are very strong, but why are they so much stronger in making a tower than building it straight up? I love PBS! I love PBS! I love PBS!!! I even talked about PBS when I signed up for this guild. In it, I think I talked about one episode of PBS TV Show Nova and how creepy the theme music is. I like the facts, though, but the music scares me. The extrapolation of the scientists also scared me, but I eventually calmed myself, by saying, "Oh, I'm probably going to be dead by then."

The reasons why I joined Gaia.com last year are (1) Gaia characters look so cute with their big eyes and large heads, (2) Gaia is mentioned on Wikipedia, which used to be my favorite and first chatting site, and (3) I saw some other people using it, so I started to use it as well. This is why I joined Gaia.

A Math Question: Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. How many pecks of pickled peppers did Peter Piper pick?
This is not really a math question, but it does contain the resemblance on one with a little bit of the famous and humorous tongue twister.
