Every Day, 84 million barrels of oil are produced world wide, America consumes over 20 million barrels of oil a day One barrel of oil is 42 gallons,
America uses over 9 million barrels of gasoline every day Every Day America's gasoline prices increas, Every Day the price of desil increases more than gasoline.
Causing truckers out of work, causing the price of goods and food to skyrocket, gas prices allready cut far into the common man's pockets. With food prices on the rise, what money is left for other things?
The american economy is falling, ontrapanureships failing. And big buisness feeding off of all of it. Who wins out of this situation? Big buisness, who looses? Everyone else.
I mean, seriously... I love america, we're one of the few conteries with all the freedoms that we have. One of the smallest racial and subculture devides there are, but we're slowly being leached to death by big buisness and no one does ANYTHING about it. This contry's gonna fall. And then what are we gonna do?
Big buisness and oil/gas needs to be abbolished. We need to put more research into producing hydrogen fuel cells and using hydrogen and water to fuel our vehicles.
The only reason oil is still so prevolent is because the big oil companys have their hand so far up america's a** that we cant do anything about it. We're so dependant on oil that we're blind. People complain about $4 per gallon now? What are you gonna do when it hit's $6? or $8? Are you gonna stop driving? Once it hit's $10 a gallon, and trucker's are filling 2 110 gallon tanks? HA! They arnt gonna do that, there's no money in it. Food and good's will rise so much, this contery's gonna fall into anarchy and chaos. We need to revamp now, We dont need Ethonal, We dont need wood alcohol fueled cars. We need to move ******** on! Hydrogen! Electric cars can be fueled off hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen doesnt produce pollution either, it produces water, ******** water man!

we are also too blind to see things any other way. We depended on oil for so long there isnt going to be a change until the last minute or so when gas prices sky rocket and people slowly start to realize they cant afford a can of soup at the store. As much as people complain, the chances are very slim that anyone will do anything about it, you can protest sure! You can cut down the amount of gas you use in your car and start walking so maybe obscety can also go down to. No one wants to change, they want things to change for them instead of doing anything about it.
Here its the same too, we have high prices of gas. By the end of summer, gas will be $2 for a litre. And those people who think "it doesnt matter to me because I take the bus" will pay more to get on the bus and for a bus pass. And the sad truth of it all is people who live and work in retail or fast food get paid.. maybe $10? Here working 6 hours isnt even enough to pay for a bus pass.
Its obvious we are going into recession yet no one has stepped in yet. Sure, you made smart cars and are trying to promote a healther living but not everyone will want to do those things. Until someone slaps them in the face with a terriorest attack or something, no one pays attention...

Thing is conversions to diffrent types of fuel cost very little. the conversions for bio disle (which is a short term fix I might add) cost about 2000 US dollars. Conversion for hydrogen costs about the same. I'm doing research on the Water powered cars. I dont know if they're legit, but if they are, it's a damn good idea.

oh its legit alright, toyota made a prototype for a hydrogen powered car. Iceland has already adopted a national program to convert its public transit and fishing fleet to run on hydrogen fuel. What's North America's problem? The big businesses that are making the money right now on us shelling out more that we have to for gas and oil. Ifn you didnt read this article yet Will, its a gooder http://www.ecotecture.com/library_eco/energy/hydrogen1a.html

We rely so much on China we get every freaking thing from them. talk2hand We traded the blueprints for it all. [/joking sarcasm]
One of the keys to getting this happen is making it known, find other people that want this to happen and start up a site or join a site on this. Make the big goal of being noticed making it to the frontpage of Digg. Once it goes there so many people will know about it that it'll be hard for the idea not to be tried.

I know that hydrogen powered cars are legit, you can buy the conversion for it for about $2000. I ment the water fueled cars. I heard about it, called HHC gas.
The only down side to hydrogen is that it's explosive, and therfore somewhat dangerous, but well worth the small risk.

There's 2000 or so cars in the Seattle area that have diesel engines that run on vegetable oil that restaurants throw away.
