You need a bit of editing. You forgot to capitalize your I and the term Mother In Law is traditionally hyphenated to avoid reader confusion. Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law are less likely to cause that moment of reader uncertainty. This reads more like an editorial than an article of news or social commentary. If you intend to write freelance it will be best to stick with subjects that aren't quite so personal. When you publish online anyone can find and read your articles (this includes family-in-law).
