I have never seen a real anime cosplayer costume. XD Sad, isn't it? sad
But, I've seen photos online and stuff.
And for movies, I watched a Death Note movie. It was really long, and a lot of it was way different than the anime, but I liked the way it was filmed and organized. ^_^ It was cool.
I've seen one anime-turned-musical. BLEACH!! biggrin I watched Bleach Rock Musical Saien like a few days ago online. It was awesome. They changed a lot of it, but it still rocked! XD;; Great music, dance numbers, acting, sound effects... *sigh* I wish I had seen it live!

Remember when I said I wanted a real Bleach sword, but on ebay it was seven. Hundred. Dollars, and you needed to be eighteen years old to buy it?
I went to an antique shop the other day and they had it for a hundred, and you needed to be only fifteen to buy it, with parental guidance.
bad part? I didn't have a hundred dollars with me, and I can't go back until next year cause it's in our yearly vacation spot!

Wait -- did it just resemble a zanpakuto, or was it ACTUALLY a zanpakuto? Like, was it official merchandise?!
Oh, and poor you. sad
Yeah...my parents would probably freak out if I bought something like that for 100 dollars. sweatdrop Even though they know I'm obsessed with animes, I don't think they'd let me go that far. They won't even let me go to anime conventions. sad I really want to though. xD Oh well. At least I have the internet, my brain, and this guild. biggrin

It was Hitsugaya's normal state zanpakuto I could tell because of its star-shaped guard.
And the fact the it had a tag on it that had a picture of Hitsugaya.

I saw cosplay before... One dude at my school dressed up as Rock Lee during Halloween. [Rock Lee is from Naruto]. He did a pretty damn good job of it and everything.
The closest I got to doing cosplay was during spring break, at my house. My cousins were painting the house, so they had gotten those face masks [kinda like the ones doctors wear, only a little thicker and cooler] to protect them from the smell. I wore one and ran to the mirror to see what I looked like. With my long dark hair and the face mask, I thought I kinda looked like Karasu from YuYu Hakusho. Well, just kinda, you know? biggrin

I've seen some cosplay outfits online. But, I usually look at fanarts more. xD I like looking at how good some people can draw -- and make the characters look practically the same. OR, they draw it so differently, but the characters look so...awesome. xD
