As a vagrant, only add to str. Once you get to your first class you'll get an auto-restat, so don't worry about that.

Once you hit level 15, you can choose between four different classes.
1)Assist. These are what can be classed as a "Red Mage" They use magic to buff and heal themselves and others, and can use a Knuckle which is a gauntlet like thing to fight.
Stats for Assists:
For a support, int and sta.
For a fighter, Str mostly. Some dex and sta here and there.
2)Mage. These are obviously the magic fighters in the game. Not really much to say other than they use elemental magic to fight.
Int and sta.
3)Mercenary. A mercenary is a mercenary is a mercenary in any game you play. Nothing new here.
str and dex. Little bit of sta
4)Acrobat. These are the ones that use either bow and arrows or yoyos to fight. Yes, I said yoyos. Sounds stupid but that's what's used.
Bows: Dex and sta.
Yoyos: str and dex and sta.

Every class has some kind of spell that they can use on themself at least to make themselves stronger. All except mage which does the high damage if statted correctly.

Once you get to level 60 in any of these one character classes, each one spreads into two different second jobs. You can still use your first job skills as a second job.

Assits=Billposter or Ringmaster.
Mage=Psychiper or Elementor
Mercenary=Blade or Knight
Acrobat=Jester or Ranger.

Billposters are the fighting class after Assists. They get more skills and spells to make themselves stronger and hit harder.
Ringmasters are the healing and supporter class. They get more spells as well to help themselves and others.

Psychipers are known as the devils of Flyff. They have lots of skills that mess with your enemy like making them stay in one spot and make them deal twice as much damage to themself as they do to you.
Elementors are the hard hitting elemental magic users. Huge spells and huge damage.

Blades are the fast hitting duel wielders in the game. As you cannot duel wield as a merc, blades can.
Knights are the hard hitting type. They hold one huge weapon that takes two hands to hold. Both are evenly matched as far as damage/time goes.

Jesters are the yoyo users in the game. They get a lot of criticals and get a bunch of spells that are fun to use. Known as the tricksters of Flyff, they like to hit and run.
Rangers are the bow and arrow users of Flyff. They have a lot of area of affect skills and are fun to be if you like ranged attacks.

Don't use any skill points as a vagrant. Your vagrant attacks are useless after you get your first job so save them for after you choose your class.

.. I learned that the hard way. Oh the life of a noob.

When you are in a private shop don't mix up the quantity and the price.. Scam=p, scan the area for better prices or ask someone and never buy if you have no idea what it is... like for me wasting 10 mil on a power collector that no longer works sad

If you are lazy andor aggressive you can play on Demian Server and get 2x exp and 2x rate of drops.

Make sure your sta is parallel with your ability and internet connection^^
low sta and lag is death (usually) \// High Sta... = unscathed....

Do NOT sell your twinkle stones. ;=} Save all of them. You need them for a job change if that hasn't already been posted.
Go sparingly on spells.
I had a friend who put 10 points onto the first spell.
Damn she owned though.
Make sure you leave a little bit left over for ANYTHING you do. =]

Make sure you save any quest item you find. At first they would want 20 quest items then it goes to 50. There are different quest items that drop from different monsters. They can make pet feed for your egg or pet,Lvling up a guild and for a quest. You can also sell quest items for penya. So remember quest items are useful in the game. If you join Mushpoie I can help you if you need any help :3
