If someone with no experience seeing auras, manipulating energy, seeing spirits, or astral projecting asked you for some basic advice, what would you recommend?
Here, I would like people to post any simple exercise they find useful or think others would find useful. If it's a good skill for a beginner to have, we'd like to hear about it! You can also post advice. If you wished you'd known it when you were starting out, you might save someone the trouble of learning something the hard way!
Nothing is too introductory or obvious. After all, we all start somewhere.

the funky fruit excercise :
this is to help with visualization and to be able to visualize your spells better.
the trick is to visualize a fruit that would never grow on earth in your head. turn it around in your head, see it from every angle, whats its weight and size and size, what does it smell like or taste like. know it from inside and out.
