Dalia layed along the bank of the stream that divided the wide flower-filled meadows. The peaceful area was the her first choice to go to when she wanted to relax or think. Watching the wind ruffle the tall grass and flowers or listening to the birds singing in the distance greatly calmed her, even putting her to sleep at times. The pink taes occasionally dipped her paw in the water, the ripples putting her in a trance-like state.

Apollo was new around the area, but it didn't seem to slow him down when he found a stream to fish in, he waded quietly in the water up to his chest, watching closely as a fish or two got close enough until he decided to strike. It took him a few tries before he could finally catch a fish. As he walked out of the strem with it in his mouth he blinked as he noticed quite a lovely sight. He never seen a female let alone another of his kind in a diffrent matter. Shakeing dry a bit he walked up to her and placed the fish down for her. "Hungry?" It was the first words from his mouth, but he was nervious and didn't know what else to say.

Dalia blinked as the sound of a voice broke her thoughtful gaze, startling her. She turned, seeing the fish first, then looked up at the captor, a beautifully blue taes with an unusual horn. She gratefully blushed, camoflauged underneath her pink fur, at his thoughtful action. She replied with a warm smile, "Thank you, but I just can't accept it. I've never seen nor heard of you before, I don't even know your name. How can I accept something from a perfect stranger?"

Apollo scratched his nose lightly with his paw as he sat down. How could he put his actions to such a lovely tae. "Um, my Apoolo name is Hi." He managed to get out, but it came out so wrong, 'how embarising' he thought, then tried again. "Hello, my name is Apollo, what's yours." There that came out better for him. "Um I uh, the fish, well i thought you'd like something to eat, and well yeah I know i'm a stranger, but i introduced myself, I don't even know your name yet and well yeah you're just so pretty, and well yeah so um.." Oh gawd he was stuttering it just made him more embarised that he smacked his forhead below his horn with his paw. How stupid of him, he opens his mouth and he sound like a crazy tae to such a sweet female.

Dalia couldn't help but giggle when he first spoke. His clusmy speaking seemed a bit charming to her. "Hello, Apollo, I'm Dalia," she smiled as she introduced herself. She started nudging the fish back towards Apollo, "well, i would feel bad to take something you worked hard to catch." A chuckled escaped as he went on, "I see your game, using flattery. But, thank you for the compliment." She had never met such a silly telpareon before.

Apollo's ears flopped a bit. "You're welcome, but I didn't mean for it to sound like flattery, I'm just speaking the truth." Okay now he had no idea if it was rude for him to call a tae lovely if they are or not. It did though cheer him up hearing her laugh. "I can always catch another were we each can have one to eat if you wish, I don't mind. I'd love company." Maybe he was jumping it a bit, he didn't know, he was loveing the company with her even though it was just a minute or two.

Dalia pushed forward and sat up so she wouldn't have to keep looking up to face Apollo. She raised her brows, truth or not she couldn't be sure of, but his voice sounded sincere. "Truth can be flattering sometimes, don't you think?" She considered his offer for a few seconds. "Company doesn't sound bad. This is a wonderful area that should be shared with others...But, I think I should be the one to catch the fish. My gift to you for your original generousity."

"Well that's true, truth can sound like flattery at times." Thinking about her catch fish caught Apollos' curiosity and interest. "How about we catch some fish together? It could be fun." An offer non the less. He wasn't the type to just sit around for to long by himself.

"I was hoping you would say something like that," Dalia blinked and grinned, thinking of the best way to explain. "Truth be told, I'm not the best fisher, so I was hoping you could help me out." From what she could tell about Apollo based on their short encounter so far, she knew the best way to butter him up to the idea; she batted her eye lashes a few times.

Apollos' ears perked right up as his tail started to wag stragely. "I would be honored to help you." Getting up to all four paws, he didn't hesitate to go into the stream, waiting on Dalia to come follow him. "What kind of fish would you like to catch?"

Dalia grinned as she noticed the change in Apollo's behavior. "Why thank you, kind sir." She rose to her paws, following behind him. She paused, wondering if getting in the water was neccessary to catching a fish, before carefully maneuvering into the water. Different types of fish didn't come to thought. "What are our possibilities?"

"Well I know as long as you stand still enough and watch they'll come closer to you and as soon as you're close enough you strike. it's a 50/50 chance so if you fail you can try again. It's mainly a waiting game." Apollo informed as he looked back he saw how the water shined from the water and reflected on Dalia's furr. It was mesmeriseing to him which made him blush.

"A waiting game," Dalia repeated, holding back a sigh. Hopefully the fish would be worth it. "So, what do you do the past the time while you wait for these fish?" She looked down at her paws and the surrounding water, no fish were by her, yet. She gazed back over at Apollo, wondering if his outcome was better already. His eyes were fixed in her direction, she even thought she could see a slight shade of red under that blue fur of his.

Apollo shook his head getting back to Dalia's question. "Well I usually get fish pretty quickly if i'm patient cause my blue fur goes well with under water most of the time, well except for my orange markings, but that isn't that noticable. As for fun, uh.." It took him awhile to figure what kind of fun you'd have if you were hunting for food. Then again he always was alone so it never really crossed his mind. "Swim? Or splash around in the water? I usually eat first or if frustrated I hunt really sloppy and trip most of the time. That usually ends up as no dinner or lunch for the day."

"I can't say i share the same luck with blending in." Dalia wiggled her pink toes under the water; an easy sight from above water, she wondered how visable she was to the fish. "Swimming? I don't see that as being very helpful when trying to catch fish, unless they thought you were a fish." She performed her best fish impersonation, then chuckled at the thought. "Well, it's a good thing you aren't upset at the moment...are you?"
