Okay I lied.
Shoot me after I get a good consensus. :p
Now, this goes here because it's not a particular server related and it gets noticed faster than in a set thread. Good grief.
I have a lvl 4X acrobat who is deadset on using a bow. This automatically precludes that I am not going YJ.
The question comes down to this:
Which is worse in terms of being hated/despised/or an increase of being pk'd (since I do live on demian)?
BJ or 1v1 Ranger?

1v1 Ranger is good if you pump dex. Don't focus on PK though because it doesn't get you anywhere as far as leveling goes. I'm a U.S. Marine. And I'm fighting for my life.

I myself cannot stand bjs but you have to give to the fact they are good 1v1 or pvp characters.
But I am an advocate for Ranger all the way. I myself have an aoe ranger so I am not sure on the stats for a 1v1, but my ranger does just fine in PvP.

Nncha, okay so I get the concept that nu one likes jesters using bows, hehe. good consensus, yus. I have an aoe ranger already, and don't want to restat in the least.
I used to have a bow acro before this one, though that didn't last past maybe 61 and it got banninated, lol.
So then, since both of you favor ranger classes (in so far as vs. the bj anyway), what eq should I be using after hitting 60 and changing classes?

You can go with pretty much the NPC gear till 75 then get the Greens set which does Def+50, Hit Rate+15%, Add HP+15% at 60 I bought a Guardian Bow

Ahh, so same path as aoe ranger then? Cool.
Someone gave me the okas suit though, so good times there.
the gbow will be a bit hard for me though right now xP
