alright now. this is the forever to get here farkle thread. i will copy and post the little bit of rules that i have set up in the "favorite video game" thread when explaining it. How to play farckle: 1. use 6 6 sided dice. 2. have to accumulate 1,000 points before your name can be put on the scoreboard and get to recieve points 3. when having equal to or greater than 5,000 points, you lose 500 every time you farckle 4. to farckle, you roll the dice but end up with unusable numbers. 5. the first person to reach 10,000 points exactly wins.
now, to get on the board and to actually compete, you have to get 1,000 points and it can be done a few ways. -roll 3 ones in one roll -roll a full run of 1 - 6 in one roll - roll three sets of twos in one roll. -or, keep rolling untill the accumalitive points add up to zero
the following is the point system: 1 = 100** 2 = unusable* 3 = unusable* 4 = unusable* 5 = 50*** 6 = unusable* *the numbers said to be unusable do not give you points unless you rolled three or more of them IN ONE ROLL. 3 X 2 = 200 3 X 3 = 300 3 X 4 = 400 3 X 6 = 600 **when you get three ones in one roll, it equals 1,000 ***when you roll 3 fives, it equals 500 (this only applies when the dice are rolled in ONE ROLL if you happen to roll more than 3 of the same number (ex: 4 X 2) then you take the initial 3 X 2 = 200 and times the 200 by 2 because of the fourth two that was rolled so it equals 400 (works for all of the other numbers as well.) (this also only works in THE SAME ROLL)
when you roll, you roll all six dice. the points you get (if any) you put aside and roll the remaining dice if you wish to continue. i will post examples so it is more clear. if you have any questions about it, just ask.
FARCKLE!!! a farckle is when you roll the dice and you end up with no usable numbers. your turn is then over and it is the next persons turn, but if you farckle if you have equal to or more than 5,000 points, you lose 500 points. *farckles don't count if you bust the 10,000 point limit when trying to get it.
Winner!!! to win, you have to get EXACTLY 10,000 points. if you roll and you get more points than you need in that roll, all of the points have to be counted and your turn is over, you DON'T lose points for busting.
once on the board, you can decide which points/how many of the dice you keep then continue rolling. you can also quit whenever you want before farckling.

i will keep the second 1 that i rolled on my second roll (therefore it is only worth 100) and put it with my other one so now i have 200. i then roll the remaining four. i keep doing this until i either farckle or get 1,000 points. does anyone have questions about this???

the four is unusable by itself so my turn is over. (in otherwords, i farckled) now, if it was a 1 or a 5, i would have added it to my score, then picked up all 6 dice and continue to roll to try to get my 1,000. after on the board, you can still keep rolling till all dice are used up (if you don't farckle) and can roll all six again and add what points you rolled to what you had (ex: say i rolled a 5, my score would have been 450, i pick up all the dice and roll 3 twos, i would add 200 to my 450 and have 650 total.)
