'Member last year's emo? Well, this year I'm going to be scene. Not sure quite what I'm going to do about bottoms as I won't spend more than $5 on a costume (so far everything has come from stuff I own...) and don't own skinny jeans. I'm thinking of modding a skirt I have with some stars and floof and tossing on a few hello-kitty pins. For a top I have my sister's awful zebra-stripe top and am gonna toss on a yellow tank top over it. Anyway, here's the prototype, tell me what I'm missing:

I wanted to, but
A.) This was at the end of a long day where I had been playing DDR and had my head out the window on the freeway and
B.) My hair is very VERY rebellious, so I'm not sure how I could replicate awful scene hair without shelling out about $15 on extensions (coon-stripes? x3)

Oh! And actually they're pigtails, but one had too many clips to hold itself up.

<.< The problem is I don't want to go to HotTopic for stupid extensions as they're overpriced, but there's nowhere else in this stupid town to get them.

the hair is fine in my opinion but i think the mardi gras beads rr slightly off...thats just me
btw i heart all teh star shaped clips. they're adorable
