Misere is watered by several streams that twist, turn and riddle through it. The soil is strong and fertile enough to support the city's vast growing numbers with food and materials. The surface is uneven, affording excellent tillage and grazing meaning the life stock is more then fair and supples the people with plenty of: meat, leather, wool, etc. The scenery is varied and picturesque, partaking largely of the alpine character, with rocks piled on rocks, and hills on hills giving the area that overwhelming mountain pass feeling. Overlooking it, on a level and grassy niche in the steep hillside, stands the other village, from which a tall church spire points skyward. Unfortunately with the quickly growing population of the city, this villages church is the only one able to be in use thanks to our forefathers.
