I have a lot of favorite books. Like sooo many I can't even begin to start naming them all. But I'll start with the ones I can re-read.
Myst, Harry Potter, The Magicians Guild, and Twilight.

Oooh! I don't normally read, but I -have- read some of Twilight. biggrin Between a Roc and a Hard Place is also a good book. :] There was this one really good book, but I never found out it's title. D: Where the Red Fern Grows is also a goodish book. :] I've probably read others and don't remember them, so just list your books.

So right now I'm really liking Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. It's like utterly confusing to me. There are a few words I don't know but I can gather their meaning from the sentence. But sometimes the sentences like never stop. The longest sentence I read was like a paragraph in of it's self. So aside from that the story is good, the characters are good, you either love them or hate them. Right now I'm teetering somewhere in the middle. When the book gets farther in, I'll explain more.

My absolute favorite book at the moment is called The Hunger Games. Then there's A Great and Terrible Beauty, and Twilight, and the Artemis Fowl books, and Harry Potter, and Redwall books, and Pride and Prejudice, and Anne Rice, and Sunshine, and yeah...

I feel your pain Tess. Just not enough hours in the day to list all of our books. Did you ever read the next book after Great and Terrible Beauty?

In prosperity, our friends know us...*has been living under a rock, culturally speaking*
I feel like I'm the only person in here who hasn't read Twilight. I'd never even heard of it until I saw the name floating about in the Vampire camps at the Halloween event.
I've gathered a few things about it, and altogether, the concept doesn't sit well with me. Vampires that don't drink human blood and that sparkle just doesn't work for me...
I like the Harry Potters, Myths and Legends books and am currently trying to read "The Picture Of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. ...in adversity, we know our friends.

Yes, Harry Potter's are good, and got significantly better as it progressed. As far as Twilight goes, I think you should try the first book and if you like it then read the rest, if not then you can honestly say "I don't like that book". That's always my theory biggrin . Hmm, let's see... I highly suggest the Myst books or the Otherland books. As far as vampires go I haven't ever really read a Vampire book other than twilight.
I'd have to look over my books and get back to you on more suggestions...

It's 'cause he's vampire, so he can heal quickly and stuffs, thus embedding himself with diamonds wasn't difficult. biggrin Good way to make sure you always have money on you. XD

Stupid stupid Wuthering Heights! I've lost my ambition for you! I know if I can't finish Wuthering heights there is no way in hell I can finish Jane Eyre right now. WTF!
Sorry about my bitching, but now I have to go find another book to read until I can climb back into Wuthering Heights. Maybe books written in the 1700's just aren't my cup of tea.

So this one book, the one that's title I can't remember, it's about this Indian girl, I believe, who's on some journey or something. Or she gets banished. I can't remember. Thing is, she's being hunted by this one dude and she's running away. And then there's this one part where she becomes really sick and she has to take care of herself 'cause no one else is around. The reason she falls sick is due to an infection of a wound on her leg that's become full of puss. [Ewww] So she grabs a thorn, I think, or some sort of branch with a point and stabs herself with it and takes out all the puss and tries to recover. But that's the only part I remember. D:
