Role Playing Information

The Enchanted Forest is an enchanted wolf role playing thread. The members create a enchanted (magical) wolf related character of their choice and role play it in the current storyline available to them. (The storyline constantly changes due to active members). Many characters will be role played at the same time beacause we have many members. That means that several characters can meet up, have a confrontation, became allies, talk, hang out or make enemies with each other. Each character can impact the story depending on how they handle the situations of the current plot in the story that is going on at that time. In this roleplay, the main roleplaying area for your characters should be the Enchanted Forest.

Role Playing and Posting in the Role Playing Threads
Italics=character's thoughts Example: Hmm....is that really him?
Caps=character's yelling Example: "WHY THE HECK DID YOU DO THAT!?!"
Quotation Marks=Character's speaking Example: "What's your name?"
Regular=character's actions Example: Lies down beside a rock, near the lake.
Parenthesis=Personal thoughts and comments of the role player Example: (Hey, I got to go. Bye everyone.)

Rank and Role Descriptions

Pack Leader Alpha-Gamma (You're an adult wolf known for your leadership. You lead new comers and give advice to those who need help. Your leadership qualities make you admirable and a role model, leading up to other wolves looking for you to receive advice. When it comes to making an important decisions, it will be up to you to help make the decision as with the rest of the leadership ranking wolves.)

Protectors and Protectors in Training (You protect the innocent and you guard those who are in need of protection. You are willing to sacrifice your life in order to save the lives of those around you.)

Warriors and Warriors in Training (You train for battle in groups or independently. You are experienced in battle and are always ready to engage in battle. You may fight to prove your strength to the world, or train and fight for the glory you receive, or maybe you just like to fight.)

Adventurers (You like to journey and you prefer to keep active by traveling to interesting places. You travel for many reasons and you tend to wonder off to new places on a mission of search or to prove a point.)

Magical Healers (You magically heal those who have been injured or those who are in great need of healing.)

Standard Healers (You heal those who have been injured or those who are in great need of healing, but you do not heal them with magic like a magical healer. You are more traditional and prefer to heal those who are injured using disinfectants, tools, herbs and bandages.)

Thieves (You are attracted to possessions that aren't yours. You desire them but aren't always willing to earn them fairly. Your stealth-like nature allows you to be quick, mobile, sneaky and above all, silent while in movement. Your specialty to reaching places without being noticed and stealing possessions of your desire.)

Food Gatherers (You gather food for yourself, your family, or others who are in need of something to eat.)

Wolf Hunters (You hunt for food for yourself using the skills you have personal obtained training and hunting alone. You may find yourself hunting for others when they are in need of food. Wolf hunters are good at hunting, especially when it comes to hunting down wolves. They are also good at preparing food and surviving in a variety of environments. You may hunt wolves because you dislike them or maybe you might have had a traumatic experience with them during your childhood.)

Pupsitters (You take care of and look after the wolf cubs/pups.)

Normals (You are an average type of person, but you are capable of choosing or altering your path. You?re quick to adapt but prefer to just be yourself and do as you desire without pressure of your peers and your environment.)

Loners/Neutral (You tend to spend a lot of your time alone. You isolate yourself from others for your own reasons. You like to do things and learn on your own.)

Pup Leaders (You are an adult's pup or child. You plan on choosing a rank or earning one when you get older. When necessary, if you are one of the higher pups, you will take charge and help them when necessary and maybe seek the leadership of an adult wolf when necessary.)

Being A Mate

If you have decided to become or seek out a mate, you have probably decided that you would like further companionship than just your friends. You are looking for a caring person who may love you and treat you with respect. When you are someone's mate, you will participate in an intimate relationship with another and may even create a family of your own with your mate. (Notice: Often times, people of similar ranks tend to become mates, but this is not always true. For example: You may be a beta female, but you may not be mates with the beta male. You may be mates with the person of your choice as long as they agree to form the relationship with you.)

Information relating to the villagers inhabiting the villages:

Each village has a group of wolf hunters that want to eliminate the members of our wolf pack, simply because they have had bad instances with wolf attacks, stealing or scavenging. Not every person in each village wants to kill the wolves, but most of the people fear them or share some sort of negative feelings toward them.

Humans want to kill the wolves and hate the orcs, but are willing to align themselves with the elves. They fear orcs, lycans, vampires, demons and stone golems. Humans are ambitious, power-hungry and fearful.

Orcs like wolves, because some of their clan have shamans that worship animals, which includes a wolf. Orcs dislike humans and elves and are willing to team up demons to eliminate humans and elves. But the orcs are a bit skeptical on whether or not it is safe to fight alongside with the stone golems. Orcs are very masculine and aggressive.

Dwarves are aligned with the elves and humans, but get better along with humans than elves. Dwarves are enemies of the Orcs and Demons. They are on neutral terms with the Locusts. Dwarves are creative, stubborn and foolish.

Demons hate humans and elves, but like the orcs and the stone golems of the mountains. They are willing to align themselves with orcs and stone golems to conquer the humans and elves. Demons are often aligned with undead beings and sometimes tend to prefer slaves over pets. Demons are wild, cynical and sneaky.

Elves like nature, animals and the humans. They are willing to team up with humans and nature to fight against demons and orcs. But some of the elves, very seldom of them, want to hunt down the wolves because of traumatic experiences they have had with them. Like the demons, they are willing to team up with stone golems to increase their power, but this will be very rare, because very seldom of them like to do this because demons do it. Elves are allies with the Dwarves, but avoid spending time with them because of their opposite personalities. Elves are sophisticated, supersticious, and intellectuals.

Stone golems are one with nature like the elves. They prefer elven masters because demons are far more aggressive and too controlling. But elves rarely enslave them due to they like to be in peace with nature. Stone golems dislike demons and orcs and only team up with them against their will while enslaved. Stone golems rarely leave the mountains and seem to be the most passive among all the races so far because they aren't very smart, but they are huge in size and have tremedous strength, even more than demons and orcs. Stone Golems are shy, generous and passive.

Locusts are on neutral terms with Dwarves, Elves and Humans. They are enemies with Orcs, but allies with the Demons and Stone Golems. Locusts would rather eat their prisoners than enslave them. Locusts are often looked down by other races due to their fondness of waste and their annoying "buzzing" accents when they speak. Although Locusts are dirty and don't have table manners, they are quite intellgent.

Rules, Regulations, Guild Leader & Crew Member Information

Rules and Regulations For Role Playing In General

1. No role playing other user's characters without permission.
2. Listen to your guild captain/leader and the other crew members..
3. Be polite and courteous to all guild members. (This means you must be polite and courteous toward all roleplayers. However, this does not mean that your character may not disrespect other characters.)
4. If you wish to join this guild, please request to join.
5. Romance is allowed, but if it gets to the point where you'll be banned then take it to the PMs.
6. No god moding (No 1-3 hit kills and no invincibility). 1-3 hit kills will only be tolerated if you have an elite character and your opponent/and or enemy is weak in comparison.
7. Try to refrain from swearing.
8. No killing other characters without permission of the guild captain or the character you are killing. When you recieve the proper permission, you may challenge your opponent to a battle to the death, in which you may kill your opponent. If you intrude or run in a battle to the death, you have requested to join in on the battle to the death and you may be killed. If you wish to fight your opponent, but not kill him/her, you may challenge them to a practice battle.
9. No killing is allowed in practice battles, with or without permission. You can only kill with permission in a battle to the death.
10. Do not post sexual pictures or sexual videos.
11. Read all guild announcements.
12. Although this is a wolf role playing guild, you may role play other types of characters if you desire, but role playing a wolf is strongly recommended and you must understand that role playing a character that isn't a wolf may lead to some criticism of your character.
13. You must receive permission or earn your alpha-gamma rank. This means that you must receive approval from the leading rank of the wolf pack in the storyline of the role play.
14. No speaking in computer talk while role playing. Example 1: *Wolf LOL while next 2 a rock.* Example 2: "I heart U"
15. Please insert proper basic punctuation where it belongs and use capital letters where they are necessary. Try to spell the words in your writing out as accurately as you can. Do not use run-on sentences. (This is a roleplaying guild consisting of forums in which members write out their characters actions, reactions, and interactions. You're writing needs to be easy to read so that others won't become confused. Proper spelling, punctuation and grammar supports convenient roleplaying).
16. If your character possesses powers or will in the future, you must receive approval from the crew members or guild leader before your character is permitted to use his/her powers in the main roleplay thread.

Character Battle Rules: To make role play battles fair, you must abide by these rules:

1. Allow your opponent to land his/her close distance attacks if you are too close to properly defend yourself, too slow or too tired to dodge their attack or counter their attack.
2. You must receive damage for every attack that hits you, unless you are invulnerable to that type of attack. If not, you must recieve damage when you are hit.
3. Every attack is caple of being countered or dodged to a certain extent with a limit, but make sure you only counter or dodge attacks when it's within your character's ability. (No character is a perfect fighter, super accurate, nor invincible, so don't cheat and dodge or counter every attack or claim to never receive damage.)
4. Don't assume that every attack will land on it's target, allow your opponent to choose whether or not your attack lands if the attack's outcome is questionable.
5. Do not read your opponent's character's profile before you fight them or while you're fighting them and role play your character as if he/she already knows the other character's abilities, powers, and secrets. If you are going to read their profiles, make sure it's because you want to understand some information about them for proper interaction purposes, like knowing how much damange your character will take from their attacks, or how far you should fly after they hit you with their best attack, or something like whether or not their magic powers will electricute you, put you to sleep, or paralyze you, etc. Don't read their profile for battle strategy advantage.
6. Do not ignore attacks and pretend that the person never hit you. If someone hit you, you must react to the hit, receive appropriate damage and make it understandable that your character were hit.
7. You cannot make a character that possesses powers for no reason or is super powerful, just because you can. That is not acceptable. Characters who have powers are required to have a good reason for having them and a background story to back them up.
8. Fight fair and follow the rules. This way, no one is cheated.

Important Note About the Guild's Leader and Its Crew Members.

The guild leader and crew members aren't online 24 hours a day and 7 days per week, even though it may seem that way. If you catch someone violating the rules, please private message the crew members or the guild leader. If crew members don't seem available at the time, go straight to the guild leader. And if the problem is extraordinarily serious I'd prefer for you to private message the guild leader, Empawk, about the problem. The problem will be handled to the best of our team's ability.

If you see that one of your posts have been modified in any of the forums, these are some reasons explaining why that may have happened:

1. You didn't mention your character's name (in the role play, while role playing your character). You must state the character's identity at least once for every post regarding that character. This is especially important for the members that role play multiple characters.
2. You didn't mention how your character traveled to the area you were at (in the role play, while role playing your character).
3. You made your character do something impossible (in the role play, while role playing your character).
4. You wrote some sort of profanity (anything above PG 13, in any place of the guild).
5. You didn't mention your character's reason, their emotions or interests in another character or explained why he or she approached that other character. Detailed writing is essential for proper interaction with your character.
