Last two to come out were made by an american company, yes. Haven't played too far into either Silent Hill Origins or Silent Hill Homecoming, but they aren't bad. With the second one they revamped with combat system. I hate it, but it's also something I'll get used to. If you like shooters you'll love the combat system. Otherwise, they are still fairly Silent Hill. Freaky as hell, lol.
*wants a cross between Silent hill and Sims now LOL*
