Since I used to run the old contests, I figure I may as well start it again. Contest ends Jan. 15. Starting then, they will be two-week long contests.
The rules are fairly simple: Use the prompt, and make it clear where the prompt comes into play. You can reword it and stick it in, make it a theme, what have you. Doesn't mater whether it's a poem, essay, story, whatever- just so long as it's written well. Check your grammar and spelling, get somebody to beta it, I don't care.
The prompt for this contest is: What is this feeling?
I expect at least 250 words for stories and essays, at least 40 for poems. Don't ask to join, just jump on in and post your entry. You can enter as many times as you like, but your entries won't add up together.
