♪ Sȯʅȯɱȯȵ Ʌɔɑɗɛɱɣ ♪ Sometimes you simply cannot realize your true power until circumstances force you to become more than you are.
There are many among us who harbor these powers, some of them have yet to discover the true nature of their being while others embrace those powers that separate them from the crowd. Even still, there are others who try to hide from their fate and only cause destruction within themselves. This is why the government of our fair city has decided it is time to step in. Time to remove these potential hazards from the streets and place them in an institute where they can be given proper attention and care. A place where they can learn as if they were just like any other student. A place where skilled teachers can monitor their learning and keep them under control.

Soo... There are just a few rules for this RP. I'll try not to get too detailed in the assumption that you're all smart enough to know most of this already.

Those profiles are from the previous Solomon Academy RP. You are welcome to use them, but I'd appreciate it if you'd add more detail or even your own spin on what I've already written. --- { ♫ } So much history : Born under a dark moon. That was what her parent's had said, what the medicine woman who visited their home once a month said. It was what the neighbors whispered in the streets and it was the reason why the other children wouldn't play with her.
Although it was by no fault of her own, Lani was simply not born with a pure soul. By some twist of fate, her new soul was stained with cruelty and evil of an ancient demon. Her family was aware of the changeling child's unique problem from the time she was born. Her mother died giving birth, as the demon Lani ripped it's way into the world. This was an evil her father and siblings were unprepared to handle. Something they were unfamiliar with and that sounded a sour note in their otherwise peaceful existence.
To counter this effect, her father hired a medicine woman to come once a month in an attempt to cleanse her spirit and drive back the demon. Otherwise, her family simply left her alone and stayed as far away as possible. She grew up knowing only fear and mistrust from strangers, always aware that she was different and marked as evil.
--- { ♫ } So many feelings : Lani has always been a child ruled by her moods. Although usually sweet in disposition, if the moment is right she can fall into a storming tantrum or a dark solitude. These undesirable traits stem from the demonic nature of her soul.
Naturally drawn to company, she dislikes being alone and seeks out others instinctively. Despite the constant rebuffing, as society turns away from her, Lani wants nothing more than to find her place among the rest.

In his travels, Cam discovered his ability to control the wind, a discovery which brought him back to Phoenix in search of answers. Cam is curious about his powers origins, due to it's late appearance. In an attempt to discover more about himself, he accepted a job offer from the school's headmaster. With little teaching background and an impatience for explaining things, Cam uses his degrees in nursing and institutional healthcare to operate as the schools only male nurse.

After years of practice, he’s learned to force himself to concentrate when the situation demands. --- { ♫ } So much history : Ben grew up with his parents and sister in a quiet, middle-class suburban neighborhood. Last year was his first attending school, as he'd been homeschooled up to that point. When he discovered his power the year before his entire family was pleased as punch, Lark in particular.
His sister was incredibly happy that her little brother's power wasn't the burden of visions like her own. He was immediately enrolled in Solomon Academy with his sister to begin learning control of his unique ability. Ben and Lark are very close, perhaps because of their age difference. He constantly worries about his frail sister's safety and seems to follow her around like a shadow.
--- { ♫ } So many feelings : Considered kind of an oddball by most people who know him, Ben is a quiet kid who is remarkably clever for his young age. Although his personality may come across as quite drab to some, Ben is extremely intelligent and his intentions are good.
He's very blunt and will always point out the obvious when others are too shy to do it. As his sister sometimes puts it, Ben is like an old man in a little kid's body!

--- { ♫ } So much history : Rohiro grew up in the innercity with his parents in a small apartment. He went to a rough school when he was younger because his parents were unable to afford the more prestigeous schools. His unusual powers generally went unnoticed at school. At home his parents argued frequently and shortly after his younger sister (Chitose) was born, Hiro's father disappeared.
Hiro believed it was because Chi was born with strange powers and their father couldn't take the disappointment. When it seemed as if things couldn't get any worse, their mother fell ill and passed away. Because Hiro was 15 and Chi was only 4, they moved out of their apartment and into the home of their wealthy grandmother. Although she wasn't particularly warm hearted, the old woman cleaned the children up and shipped them off to a private school.
--- { ♫ } So many feelings : Hiro is usually very reserved and dislikes meeting new people. Because he recently switched schools, he isn't used to his new environment and retains some habits from his old one (i.e. He's always on guard, ready to protect himself in a fight, and wary of strangers). Before coming to his new school, Hiro was prepped by his grandmother to be polite and behave in a socially acceptable way. Still, though, when he's irritated he may occassionally revert to his old ways.
Hiro is fiercely protective of his younger sister (although he teases her often) and although he won't admit it, he worries about her a lot. He is the same way with his close friends, although most of them were left behind after he moved away.
