I have no clue if anyone wants to answer this for/with me, but the MP was pretty stable until recently. Now I see Katanas going up, Nitemare Bustiers plummeting (though I can sort of understand why,) and even Horns of the Demon went up by about 300k-400k, and dropped about 200 or so from what they were. Just wanna know if there's some reason (Possibly demand...?) or some other reason...
Also just trying to stir conversation shamelessly. *cough*

I spend nearly all my time [on gaia] on the MP and I'm prety happy to blame the fortune eggs and the famestar.
Only reason? I myself know the value of them if you get lucky.
I bought some fortune eggs and I made around 200k on them, and last night I bought a final level famestar for 410k and got this mercury moon.
People are making money easier and then buy the things they always wanted on mp, then when people see these rarer old items going up they make use of that and try to raise it higher by reaching the new highs.
Take the katana [Ok granted, right now it's got a glitch, constantly saying 490k lowest makes people put it up around 80k under price, I myself have exploited this a few times to make around 100k.]
But yea, it's all just inflation really, although I have heard or a gambling game in the forums [Black magic casino] Where people are betting very high value items, thus buying alot of them from Mp, that will be much to blame.

oh!
Because I cannot be bothered to edit last post, the aquariums are to blame for some items dropping, panda slippers and wtf hats for example.
Loads of people [myself included] were winning fluff boxes and ancient chests [and blue and pink giftboxes] from their overseers.
Leestar himself won panda slippers, and the bustiers come from the giftboxes, hence the more are available, the more will come on market [obv].
I get a feeling overseers are either no longer giving fluff boxes, or someone's gone and bought all the cheap ones, time will tell but they've certainly leapt in price recently.

i have 2 pairs of panda slippers i got from the fluff boxes o.o
i got the fluff boxes from the overseer...
so yea x3
i didn't sell them yet though.

Im kinda happy for some of the inflation, but never did i think a brand new EI would go for 300 k. it urks me, noone has an oppertunity to get many of the new items anymore because they immediatly go in high and then only inflate higher :/

The moment I opened my sealed and saw this nymph I knew the price of ther read would rise, I wish I'd grabbed one crying But yea, the inflation has been making me alot of gold, so no complaints.

That would not be cool for people's wallets... =n=;; It will be a while before the prices drop I'm afraid, they only started going down again before recently because of the genie lamps, people lost so much gold on those things whee The items I mentioned dropping though, I can't see them going back up unless they take the giftboxes from the overseers [Speaking of which, I'm wondering if the fluff boxes have gone, they don't seem to be flooding on like they were before.]

I do hope they do. D: I'd rather have the prices they originally were so I don't have to see them everywhere I go. Ruins the fun of getting the item. ;___; for me, at least.
