INFORMATIONName: G'rey (Formerly Gorey)
Age: 25 Turns
Sex: Male
Orientation: Homosexual
Physical Description: G'rey is pretty average-looking, but anyone to tell him that would receive a harsh smack across the face. He stands at about 5'7" and has a relatively slender build. He's not well-muscled, but not weak either. Toned would probably be the best word to describe him. His skin is fair, and his face freckled. He has shoulder length black hair that frames a rather plain face, and brown eyes. The only thing that really says something about him are his clothes. When not astride Fieneth, G'rey wears well-tailored clothes in rich colors that accent his skin. He has a great fashion sense, and knows just how to dress for any occasion.
Personality: Ask him who the hottest male in the Weyr is, he'll always say himself. This boy is
vain. He loves the way he looks, he loves his clothes, and he
loves his Green. His vanity extends to her as well, and he won't hesitate to say she's prettier than any Queen ever born. To say G'rey is a selfish p***k is probably a bit of an understatement. His things are
his. Don't expect him to share them with
anyone but Fieneth. If the dragon can even
use said things, that is.
You'll find it hard to get G'rey to admit he can do something wrong. He is something of a perfectionist, and he honestly believes he can do no wrong. The
only person he'll listen to, short of his Wingleader or the Weyrleaders, is Fieneth. And possibly his lover, if he has one at the time. Of course, finding him with a lover may be a bit difficult, considering just
how picky he is. And it would be difficult for him to find a man up to his standards that could
put up with him.
On the wing, G'rey puts aside all his horrible personality problems, and focuses on the problem at hand. No thread escapes his keen eyes (that he'll admit to), and he directs Fieneth skillfully. Nine years together has honed him into great team with his dragon. It's probably the only reason the Weyr puts up with all his crap.
History: G'rey's life has been rather uneventful, for the most part. He was born into the Weyr, and has two siblings that he never really cared to get to know. At a young age he was Fostered to one of the workers in the Weyr. As soon as he was old enough, he began standing for clutches, and he finally impressed Fieneth when he was 16. Over the time they've been paired, he's gone through his fair share of lovers, and has helped his dragon develop just as she's helped keep his ego in check. He was only recently transferred to Ista to be part of a new wing.
Pets: None
Other/Talents: No
true talents of note, other than pissing people off with how vain he is.

DRAGON INFORMATIONName: Fieneth
Color: Green
Physical Description: Fieneth is a rather interesting Green. She is somewhat on the large side for her color, and it took her a while to grow into her size, so to speak. Her color is a rather brilliant peridot green, with darker emerald points. She has splotches of emerald dappling along her cheeks, her rump, and the upper side of her wings. The under side of her wings remains mostly lighter in shade, with some darker trim along the edge of her wing sail.
Visual ReferencePersonality: Fieneth is everything her rider isn't. She is humble, and knows just when it is best to blend in with the crowd rather than stand out. Indeed, her rider's vanity is something of a joke to her, and she will cut him down to size when she needs to. She isn't a cruel dragon, quite the opposite in fact. She is warm and friendly, and her amiable nature is part of the reason she attempts to keep G'rey's attitude in check. She has no intention of him getting them sent to another Weyr, so she does her best to keep him under control.
Unlike her rider, Fieneth is acutely aware of when she makes a mistake, and she'll do everything in her power to correct it. In her earlier years, she had issues with her confidence which G'rey slowly helped her overcome, although there are still some lingering insecurities. She is well aware she is rather large for a green, and this is something that causes great distress for her.
On the wing, her insecurities are quickly forgotten. It is the only time outside of her flights that she allows herself to truly be free of all her problems, and she takes direction from G'rey as if it's second nature. She trusts him completely, and will dodge if he says there's thread to dodge or stay still when directed.
Amusingly enough, Fieneth doesn't rise that often. Maybe twice a Turn, if she's lucky. And she remains aware of who is chasing her at all times. While G'rey would like nothing better than for her to be caught by a nice, strapping brown, she makes an effort to only let medium-sized blues to catch her. Just to keep her rider's ego in check.
