Okay, I know that whenever you are dreaming, (what you see) it's mostly of things you have seen in the past and whatnot.. or places you have been to. But in the dream dictionaries, you are able to look up objects you have seen in your dream, and it tells you what it means.

Such as, if you see an "airport". Here's what it says,

To see a busy airport in your dream, signifies the desire for freedom, high ideals, ambition, and hopes. It is an indication that you are approaching a new departure in your life. Some new idea is taking off or is ready to take off. You may be experiencing a new relationship, new career path or new adventure.

To dream of a deserted airport, indicates that your travel plans will be changed or delayed.

Now, it's hard to depend on if this stuff is actually real!?
I mean, objects you see in your dreams are abviously things you have seen in your life and cluttered together and makes no sense. But from the Dream dictionary, they say that these things you see have meaning that take place in your life or emotions.

What is your view on this ?

I dreamed that I met a construct of mine -- he was a construct. I ordered him to go get my friend. What's that mean?

P.S. - he was a scarecrow

The other night I had a dream that I "knew" I had the ability to break a mirror with my mind. I placed my hand on the mirror, and my friend placed her hand on the mirror as well. For some reason my mind just told me to do it, and I had no control over it. It's like I have seen it been done before, but where?!!?

we closed our eyes, focused, and suddenly, pushing our consious, it broke! shaddered!

What do you call this work, exacly ?
I mean, I would have never thought of doing it, and ofcourse I didnt even think it be possiable. Somehow, I just "knew" I was able to do it because someone else did, but I cant remember who..

oh im so confused..

Whoops. Found a typo.

A construct is a thoughtform -- a kind of man-made spirit. This one in particular was a non-sentient construct.

Ha ha, that sounds like the video game 'Folklore', the main character has a scarecrow guardian that takes her through the dream worlds of the fairy realm....

ANYway; I've found that for me at least, dream dictionaries are not very acurate. For instance, my dream dictionary says that a Wolf represents trouble in future buisness and financial endeavours; but to me personally the Wolf represents the ultimate freedom of the soul.

Basically, I have found it is best to translate your own dreams, which can be a task, I admit. You just need to think deeply about what every little detail represents in your mind; sometimes meditating helps. But personally, I don't trust most of the by-the-book translations.

Okay, so...for me, I do think that's possible, very much so in fact...since I've kinda blown out a light bulb without it ever having been on and being brand new...*not cool* So yeah, I'd find that thing possible. (Yes, I know it's a dream, but anyway, that's how it'd apply to me.)

It could be something about trust with the person you were breaking the mirror with or something to that nature, but I can't really say for sure. It's you're dream so other interpretations could be taken from it.

Like Ro, I tend to list away from dream dictionaries. They're pretty inaccurate for me too, though not so for the rest of my family. ._.

Yeah... except this scarecrow was doing laundry. And he wasn't a fairy.

I personally feel that all dreams are symbolic. Some figments represent things, others are just 'WTF' and some even represent things much deeper.

I look at dream dictionaries for fun, to see what they say, although I would not soley rely on them. I had one that claimed that I wanted either food or sex with every dream I had...XD And besides, most dreams are too complicated to follow 100%, even if you do remember a good chunk of them.
