Okay all you FE fans out there. Time to set up the RP.
You're at wherever your home may be. You're with the people you're normally with, doing your usual job, whether it be mercenary work, being a royal knight, farming, or helping your country in general to keep the peace.
Suddenly, a blinding light flashes. You're disoriented for a few, until you regain yourself to notice almost everyone has been turned to stone. Again. It makes no sense on how it happened, as the continent has been peaceful. Now it's your job to meet up with others who survived and try to figure out how this has happened, and how you can save everyone. What has happened to Ashunera?
The only problem is, you're running short on time. Slowly, even allies who managed to escape the first light, are being petrified.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All rules are enforced, and you should have already claimed a character at this point.
 Sothe watched the light dissipated, a dagger already pulled from his boot and held at the ready. "Che. Not this again," he scoffed, placing his dagger away and jumping out of the tree he had been resting in.
"This is bad..." Edward said to himself as he wandered through the streets of Nevassa. Daein hadn't been involved in any conflicts under Micaiah's rule, and as far as he knew the rest of Tellius was peaceful. But the statues that were scattered through the streets said differently. "Why do I have a feeling Begnion's Senate has something to do with this?" But that didn't make sense either. He raised his voice. "Is anyone out there?!" he shouted, knowing it would be all but useless.
 Sothe continued to walk through the streets of a village just outside Nevassa, looking sadly upon the statues of little children, frozen in play. "I'm sorry little ones..." he sighed, kneeling in front of one of the kids, fingering it's delicate, little hand. Although many had not seen the rogue's soft side, he did have one and in situations like these, it manifested.
"I'm going to go crazy if no one answers me," Edward sighed before shouting again. As he looked around, he realized that no one in Nevassa was going to answer him. He sprinted back to his home and grabbed his blade- though the continent was silent, he still needed to be prepared if he ran into the cause of this mess. He made his was out of Nevassa and into the countryside. "Crimea or Begnion?" he wondered.
 "I suggest more people first, doofus," Sothe said, walking up behind the swordsman, ruffling the boy's hair. "I saw you coming out of the city and I just had to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Good to know I'm not the only one that's still living around here," he sighed. "I can't believe it's happening again. I thought we had wiped out this power."
Edward let out a bloodcurdling scream when Sothe had come up behind him. His placed his hand on his chest and tried to calm down, panting. "Sothe..." he acknowledged. "Please, don't do that. But you're right about one thing. I have no idea why this happened. I thought the goddess... I wonder what happened to her. But more people would be nice. No offense, Sothe, but I'm not sold on spending the rest of my life with only you for company." He shoved his friend playfully. "So... where to?
 Soren walked through the forest, unsure of what had happened. The blinding light, then nothing. It didn't make sense. Unless... "Please tell me that isn't what happened... not again..." If the goddess had cast her judgement again, who would bring life back to the continent? He made his way out to a small village, where his fears were realized. Every person there had been turned to stone. "This... isn't good. But there has to be someone else out there... I can't be all alone. Why would the only survivor be me?"
 Sothe laughed at Ed's scream, something that he got quite often considering that he was so quiet in his approach. "I'm not sure exactly... " he began, thinking over their options. "First I'd like to make sure that Micaiah's sa--- we should go see her first," the thief finished, changing his words to keep the mask over his feelings for the silver-haired girl. "She may have an idea what's going on."
"Sothe." Edward tried so hard not to burst out laughing. "I've been hanging around you and Micaiah for how long now? I'm aware you're all but obsessed with her. But you're right about one thing, we need to make sure she's okay. And something tells me you saw her last. Lead the way."
 Sothe simply nodded, turning away from Edward to conceal his slight blush as he headed towards the castle. "She spends a lot of time in the gardens so she may have taken refuge there after the light struck. It seems to be a nice place to sit and sort through things," he explained, looking up at the castle walls that contained said garden.
 ((Our only problem is, the person playing Micaiah is currently on vacation in another country. She won't be back until Sept. 10th. ))
