So, my boyfriend decided he wanted to get genuinely drunk, now that he's done with school forever. I let him, so he'd learn his lesson. We were at home, and I stayed sober in order to watch over him. He's sworn to never pass his limit again - fortunately he wasn't too drunk to remember the unpleasant experience the next morning.
Now, when you're drunk, you're uninhibited, and you have no filter to what you say, so you're likely super-honest, and just say whatever comes to mind, right? Seemed to be the case with him (sure is with me). And when you're extremely drunk, you don't have much actual thinking going on, so chances are you're not coming up with new ideas, right?
So if you say something twice, a long distance apart, when in an extremely drunken state... chances are it's something you've thought of beforehand but chose not to mention?
My childish heart hopes so...

im very anti-alcohol for... a lot of reasons.. so i might not be the best opinion for this.
a... person i loved a lot too has said a lot of things when he was drunk.. in my opinion it means nothing. your effected by a poison in your body and your mind cant think straight, which is why people can get abusive, sad, or extremely happy when they are drunk. maybe some of the stuff holds truth but the way i see it, if you dont remember what you even said, then it wasnt really worth anything.
now im guessing in your case, he said something to you concerning your relationship, possibly the future i assume. i would mention it when he is sober and can think straight about it and give you an honest answer then. see if he even remembers what he said and give him time to answer on his own free will.
