Sorry if I speak out of place, however that last statement of yours seemed like an invite to put my two cents in... (not very lady-like of me I know...)
Here's a tip for the ladies!
How to dress:
When it comes to being a 'lady', you are how you dress. Always dress appropriately. Wear clean and wrinkle free clothing, nothing too baggy, nothing too tight. I'd like to note, you do not need to show off too much skin in order to be 'sexy' (that should be demonstrated on how well you carry yourself)
When it comes too make up. Remember ladies, make up is used to enhance ones beauty. You do not need thick amounts! Just put enough on to hide the blemishes and highlight your strong points.
Being Polite:
Always smile and look people in the eyes! Give the appearance that you're always happy and that nothing bugs you. This comes greatly in handy when someone's arguing with you. A lady does not get heated. Don't yell back, just smile, listen, state your opinion calmly, and if it gets too heated excuse yourself from the area before a full fledged argument arises. A person who cannot have a calm debate or does not listen is not worth talking to.
Which comes to my next point: Keep your voice to a minimum. Don't talk so soft that you can't be heard or talk too loud that the next room can hear you.
Actions:
How you act reflects on you! Let's see... sit up properly and cross your legs or atleast have them together. When you're at a party, do not over do it when it comes to food and drink (especially alcohol). Burping or farting in public... need I really say more?
Other Tips:
Educate yourself ladies! Keep that mind of yours sharp!
DO NOT ACT STUCK-UP! Ladies are proper and elegant, she knows her faults. A lady that acknowledges and thanks those who help her. If someone tells you their opinion but doesn't ask for yours, do not step in with your opinion, go about it with more of a question or understanding.
Be a STRONG woman! Though acknowledging help to go up in the world, do not let people step all over you! A lady is all about elegance and intelligence!
