...a serious conversation in the CB and all you get is a bunch of spammers. Don't get me wrong, there ARE some serious people, but most of the time, you get a bott that posts just a face or something stupid.
THEN when you try to post it somewhere else, it get's moved by the mods and you get in trouble for it.

I gave up trying in there years ago so doesn't apply to me.....
what I hate is when a mod assistant moves a thread but doesn't seem to look at it....I once posted a thread in the exchange, selling an old item.....mod assistant decided it needed to be moved to the CB since she thought it meant I was selling a guild....I was selling a 03 item, clearly typed out but said mod didn't really seem to look and apparently does it a lot.....

You're right...they lurk in there. It's almost to the point where "serious conversation" and "CB" can't be said together anymore. Rally is bad too, I've noticed.

Ok, joke aside...
Usually, I never use Gaias subforums, basically because they are all spambreeders, and they multiply like crazy. I used to be in the ED some years ago, but people not agreeing with others just evolved into flamers, which made it hard to actually be serious about a discussion.

I'll admit i'm an EDer. I don't go to GD or CB at all. ED isn't as flamey as it was but people are less serious. We once had a discussion on riding balloons to get to Ween, and ED reg. There ended up being two balloons, a flying carpet, Ween on the roof of his house with a rifle and a guy climbing up the wall to the roof of Weens house. One of the balloons had a turret gun and ran on wishes and dreams and the other has scythes attached to the sides. And I think Black_Wing_Angel was gonna fly to Ween as well. Also the balloons where in a race to see who could get there first, hence the weaponry.
Also to all GD and CB people STOP RAIDING THE ED IT'S ANNOYING!!
Raids just decrease ED even more.

I think all discussion other then Guilds are all ruined by Spammers, Flamers, and Trolls. Don't they (the Spammers, Flamers, and Trolls) understand no one wants to listen to there crap? I mean if I want to listen to there crap I would go Into GD or Ed or any of the others, But I don't cause I like to have a serious discussion with my fellow gaians.

I don't really go to CB or the ED alot...
I'm mostly a stalker GDer, I'll go through the front page and look for completely hilarious posts that "serious" noobs try to post.
But yes. It's annoying how people just decide to go spam or troll a certain thread, where people are TRYING to be serious.
I say we round up all the noobs and ship'em to Pluto.

I agree. I sat in GD this morning and 20 minutes was all I could stand. There was nothing worthwhile being said.

I never went into the CB. I gave up on it entirely due to the conversations that occurred in there. They are totally uncalled for, and completely ridiculous in content. You post something that is logical and you get flamed for it.
Back then, you actually used to get a good answer to a question, and not some nonsense rubbish.

 People actually try to be serious in the CB? That's not a sign of intelligence.
I've found the best place to seriously discuss stuff is in Guilds, but only few guilds remain where that happens.
