I was thinking the other day, that if we really want to show Gaia we are angry, we should do something that will get their attention.
And then I thought, we should wait till we have a lot more people in GAC, and then stop signing into Gaia for a set period of time. When all those users aren't there for that time, I think it will get their attention.
And so they know why we're logging out, we should have someone contact Gaia and explain.

I agree that that will work, but I refuse to do it. There's nothing wrong with it, but Gaia shouldn't force us to have to do things like that, It's selfish of them. They're forcing us to give up some of our 'Lesuire Time' so that they know that we're upset sad .

i would, but i have an rp starting soon and this is were i spend most of my day, simply cause i'm on a dinosaur comp too slow to download anything, and myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. suck more than the've made gaia

It sounds like a great idea, but I don't think it would work.
They wouldn't be losing anything by us boycotting it for a day.
Most of the people who would be up for it probably don't spend a whole lot of money on GC anyways.
And just signing in doesn't make them money.
The only thing I see it doing is freeing up their system for them since less users will be on. XD

True that. Also, when I log on, I usually see anything from 30 - 90k members online. This means, that we would need at least 20 - 30k members to make them even notice, that a group of people didn't log on at some certain day.

I think it would really get their attention if we stopped signing in for some time
BUT
Can we make it so that at least 10 000 people won´t sign in? Otherwise they might not even feel the change at all. I practically already left gaia, since I´m only here to take my daily chance and aquarium prize, and I spend most of my days at solia that has a much friendlier atmosphere and is not so money obsessed, but how many here are willing to do that?
And how long should we keep it up? A day won´t help. A week won´t either. And if you are willing to give up a site for more than a week, it´s possible many won´t return at all. That would destroy the community just because admins are jerks.

No offense but I've seen people try to do this with so many web sites. I will go on regardless of this, but I hope it works. Basically the only way I see this working is if you get practically ALL of Gaia to do it that means all of the "n00bs". So in a sense throw the idea in every direction.

we would have to put this not only in our status (updating every hour or two) but post it in every forum, and every guild were in, constantly yelling, "boycott by not logging in" in rally, towns, zomg, and all the games, that is too much to do

i dont think that will work at all. gaia doesn't lose anything by us not logging in for a day or a week. but if we boycotted gaia cash, that they would notice. though i dont think we could get enough people to do it. Dx
