Most people in North America know Rekka no Ken as just "Fire Emblem". Finally, Fire Emblem went international with the debut of this game.

It was released on the Game Boy Advance and served as a prequel to Fuin no Tsurugi. Its main characters were Lyndis (Lyn), Eliwood (Roy's father), and Hector (Lilina's father). Lyn discovered she was heir to the throne of Caelin, a kingdom of Elibe. This causes a political problem, as her grandfather's brother, Lundgren, wishes to succeed her grandfather and tries to kill them both. Lyn eventually reaches Lundgren's stronghold and defeats him. A year later, Lyn's friend Eliwood is traveling about where he meets his friend Hector. After a series of problems and battles, Eliwood finds his father is supporting a plan for a group of bandits to conquer the world. In his journey, Eliwood manages to defeat a Fire Dragon and Nergal to save the world.

Had the best plot out of any of them I think. Well, there were lots of dimensions to it. I think that Hector's story totally got shortlisted though... which shouldn't have happened.

I remember Florina being my favorite to use besides the lords... then Matthew and Nino. Ah, nostalgia...

Of course, I lent the game to my friend two years ago and still haven't gotten it back. Since I hate her guts now I should really try shopping for another copy.
