Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is the eighth installment of the series, takes place on the continent of Magvel, and features twin brother and sister Prince Ephraim and Princess Eirika as their homeland is destroyed by the kingdom of Grado, a longtime ally. Shortly before their castle is invaded, their father orders Eirika to flee the castle and find refuge. Ephriam is out in Grado fighting for their country, Renais. After the siblings eventually meet up they find they need the Sacred Stones of old to seal away the evil spreading across the continent.

Of course, it will be no simple task as Grado is tracking their every movement and is destroying the Sacred Stone held in the other countries. Unfortunately, only two of the Stones survive.
