Numbering from 1-10

PHRASE: Aon/Do/Tri/Ceathair/Cuig/Se/Seacht/ Ocht/ Naoi/ Deich

PRONOUNCED: ah-inn/doh/tree/cah-irr/coo-igg/shay/shocked/ucked/knee/deh

MEANING: One/Two/Three/Four/Five/Six/Seven/Eight/Nine/Ten

Yay, you can count to ten now, lol

Number suffix from 1st-10th

PHRASE: céad/tabhair ar iasacht/tríú/ceathrú/cúigiú/séú/seachtú/ocht/naoú/deichiú

PRONOUNCED: (Will add later)

MEANING: 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th/7th/8th/9th/10th

Here's a bit of that... I have to go though....

That's not quite clear ... is it

céad - 1st
tabhair ar iasacht - 2nd
tríú - 3rd
etc
?

Only, when I first looked at it, I thought that céad and tabhair were interchangeable and that the sequence was céad (or tabhair) ar iasacht, céad ar tríú, céad ar ceathrú, etc.

For people, it's duine, beirt, tríúr, ceathrar, cúigear, séúr, seachtear, ochtúr, naoínur, deichniúr. So really, just say the number and add "oor" to the end lol

Welcome smile . I wanted to help without looking like a know-all or a snobby b***h because I sometimes phrase things wrong by mistake. My point is I'm glad I didn't offend you. ^^
