I joined this guild when it had 16 members, now that's not long ago, is it? I understood the need to express yourself when Gaia is messing around with stupid stuff, and I joined because I also felt that need.
Yet, in the short time this guild expanded, and although we are not many posting, the posts made are rather useless crap. Yes, seriously, come on guys, don't suck like that...
It's like people are SEARCHING for stuff to complain about, making their own problems, and just HAVE to point anything out, just to complain about SOMETHING. Really, was this the intention of the guild? Was it?
I just answered the post about announcement, where Dio Costantine complained about a problem, he actually made up himself, 'cus he is lazy and just wanted to complain about something.
Also, there was a topic about Gaia being colorless, which really is a problem for many. Now Gaia wants to make at least the menubar somewhat colorful, and what happens? People seriously complain about that too! In my country, we call that double moralic.
This guild has a nice goal, so please don't ******** that further up. The topics created are going down the drain. Gaia is spying on us? Cut the paranoia and get on with it. If ALL you can do is complain, then leave Gaia.
My point with this topic? Think about what you complain about, BEFORE you complain, or this guild will lose it's meaning, and more than that; its level. Don't complain about spam, if you spam yourself, alright?

we complain because it's good for stress reliefs and gaia is pissing off us a lot, latelly i sign and run instead of being here the entire day

I think you are incredibly rude, and a hypocrite aren't you your self complaining about something pointless? You fail to understand everyone has their own little issues with Gaia, that is why we were brought together under the common idea Gaia sucks now a days. Why you are getting on people for blowing off steam I don't know, but you seriously need to step off. Who are you to tell people what to dislike or complain about skip over the topic. Oh as for the whole "I joined when there was 16 members," no body cares. That is you just trying to power trip, and act all high and mighty making you no better than the newbs running around with gaia cash you don't like it leave we don't want you here bagging on people with issues anyway. Nobody is looking to hate on Gaia why would we be here if we wanted to hate it for the most part every issues that I have come across has been valid, but then again does it really have to be valid Chick I am American and we have this amazing thing called a 1st Amendment right. Last I checked, this was a guild for like minded individuals to discuss the problems they are having with Gaia, in specific, with all the recent changes, [hence "Gaians Against Change"?]
I very much doubt this is a place to insult each other because one of you think we complain too much, and the other thinks you should just shove off because you're complaining about complaining.
Yes, Ranchi, sometimes people post somethings that don't make too much sense, but you don't just hop on them and say "Oh you, your problems are trivial/solvable, quit complaining, you suck." If that's how you feel, the least you could do is be polite about it. No one enjoys rude people. Explain to them that, hey, you could do this and your problem would be solved! Then, you'd be seen as helpful instead of rude. And as we all know, helpfulness > rudeness, hm?
And, yes, Dark, we were brought here because we all share the common idea that Gaia has been sucking something awful lately. But seeing as how this is a guild to let people discuss their issuses with Gaia, under technicalities, she does have a right to voice her opinion, under the same amendment, lol. I'm not justifying the way she did it, heavens no, but still, if you can voice your disdain here, then so can she.
And, I would just like to point out, that it makes no difference when you joined the guild, miss. Especially since we all joined rather recently.
This isn't a place to attack each other. This is a place to discuss our mutual dislike for Gaia's crap as of late. Seriously, guys. That's not cool. >__>

The "I joined when there was 16 members" thing was not a power trip, just read the rest of it. It was to show how fast this guild expanded, but how inactive we are for the amount of members we have. This issue was already brought up in another topic, and of course we cannot force anyone to post, but we can watch our own posts. It's actually not me being rude, try looking at your own post, which is not better in any way. That again was one of my points; douple moralic. Of course we are here to complain about some changes we dislike, which was the original purpose of this guild in the first place. But the overall language and points being set are dropping in level every day. That is also why I mentioned Dio Costantine's topic, which actually WAS pointless. That topic was the reason for me making THIS topic, for people to think before they post. If so many people in this guild fail to even log in somewhat often, then why complain about stuff that doesn't have anything to do with them? That's what I meant with "people are searching for something to complain about". It is like some have to let out steam for other reasons than actually Gaia, but lets it all out here, just because they can. IMHO, that is not the purpose of this guild. I can see how annoying Gaia Cash is for those who want it, but cannot/will not get it, but are longing for the items you can buy with it, and other problems that actually make people logging in and using Gaia sad every day. But I don't see how random complains about random stuff, and also paranoia issues are related to the goal and purpose of this guild? If you guys treat this guild like a base for complains and random rants, then I see nothing wrong with this topic, not at all. And I don't care if you're american, and what 'amazing' things you have over there, but if you want to involve country rights; I have the right to write what I'm thinking. And I will do just that. That's not cool. >__> Ah sorry, you posted while I was still writing this post. Now for an edit, I simply dislike posting twice... Yes, I was a bit rude in the other topic, but the way Dio complained about something he could have solved himself in a shorter time than writing his post made me somewhat mad. Not mad like turning all red in my face and boiling, but more like "amgosh, this is not real!" mad. If you get my point? He himself could have ASKED if there was a way to turn the announcements off, instead of making a topic where he wanted a way to turn them off right away. That was actually my point. I'm not really mad in THIS topic, and I don't think I'm actually being rude in here anymore. I just want to express how I feel about some topics made, and how people react to minor problems on Gaia. Argh, I keep editing this post 'cus it's so long >.<

I see. Thank you for clearing the smoke around that one. My main problem was just the rudeness. And while I did mention you being somewhat rude, I would also like point out that Dark wasn't being very polite either. Sorry about singling you out. I just feel the whole "annoucement" issuse could have gone a lot smoother, but I definately see why it would bother you to that extent.
Also, thanks for clearing up the "joined when there was 16 members" thing. I was feeling a bit like you were just throwing that out there, and it sort of bothered me, but I get it now~
See, but this is what I mean! DISCUSSION!~ Not attacks. Good old fashion discussion. ^__^

I must apologize for rudeness I get hot headed when I smell injustice against someone else, however as Zol stated you could have been a little more polite as I should have been. I don't believe his post was completely pointless I hate the announcements to, they are useless and just make me even more mad at Gaia. I also felt as if you were just throwing out the "I joined when there were 16 members thing." People are going to complain, protest, etc. I personally joined this guild to complain, and discuss what I dislike about gaia I mean that is what is about right Gaians against the changes, what else should we talk about other than changes we dislike. Granted when given a chance many people will complain will take it, but posting a topic titled "this makes me laugh," and basically insulting people for complaining(even if it was taken the wrong way) I don't see how you could expect people to agree with you. Now taken from a different approach I could totally agree people are talking about some useless non sense but I choose to skip over it rather than waste the time to read it. However, I do apologize for my earlier rudeness, and I was definitely wrong to bring country into it considering I hate America xP

You know, apart from the rudeness I think you are both right. Some people have been complaining about trivial issues, but yes, this is a guild that was made to protest some of the annoying things Gaia does to us. Perhaps there should be a subforum where we post the little things that annoy us, but aren't huge deal-breaking issues that need to be changed NOW.
I can see why they made the new navigation, but they horribly misunderstood the people that asked for it. It is hard to use and white on light blue is a nightmare to read. But I think it is more of a miscommunication, when Gaia Online tried to do something right for a change.
So I will leave this thread with that thought and a reminder that if you get emotional on a topic, type it out in a word processor, go away and think for ten minutes, and then come back and read your response to see if it may be rude or could be seen as the start of a flame-war. Everyone will be glad you did. 4laugh

I explained my self in my board and apologized, and just want to add something since it has been locked. I feel you were rude to me and I'm quite insulted that you singled me out to make this board (Which also isn't entirely necessary) just because mine was the last you read, when apparently I'm not the only one who has made a trivial board. If you were the one who had it locked because it was useless (Which I don't really care about, and if not ignore this) then maybe you should go through and have the others like mine locked/deleted. Also I took your advice and turned off all announcements but to no surprise they still show up. Though you will be happy to know I won't be making a board and I won't be asking for help on it, I'd rather no response than a rude one.
Once again, in all sincerity I am sorry for cluttering the topics.

And no, I have nothing to do with the closing of your topic, I didn't even know it got closed confused As you already noticed, your topic was not the main reason for me making this topic, just the last I read. It's not like I wanna eat you or anything. That the turned off announcements are not working is weird, it works on my account, though I don't have them all turned off, only some arena stuff.
