i hate it when they make items you can only buy with cash! and when people sell them in the marketplace they're rediculously expensive. i don't know what they'd do about that, but it drives me crazy!

It because that's the only way they'd make money. And the people who sell the CS items as overly priced as they possibly can is because, hullo, they spent real money on it, they should atleast be able to make a decent amount of FAKE money off of the money the wasted.

lol Atleast, that's what I've been told. Mhm, although they once said, that the money they make with the collectibles was enough to keep Gaia alive. I guess they have to pay Craig Sherman now though... The worst thing is, when people charge over 1 million gold for a rig item, just because it's rare. And I thought Gaia didn't want the market to inflate... Fail.

If you don't like the gc thing, don't buy anything that comes from the cash shop and tell others to do the same

Princess, I try to avoid the CS when at all possible. Most of the CS items I have were purchased using gold I got selling MCs, which I sent cash in for. Its not like the items in the CS are bad, its just that more then half the time all the time, they're not worth the real cash you'd have to spend on them. But because of it being about as difficult to get as a regular MC [maybe even harder], marketplace shopping, although doable by everyone, ends up being way too over priced. THEN, on top of that, they have the 2% crap, so people then use that as an excuse to raise their prices even higher. They knew doing all that crap was going to force the marketplace to become more over inflated then it had been before, but appearently, they weren't getting enough gold in the frecking system. >__>
Ranchi, the collectibles might have been enough to keep the site alive before, but with Sherman in the picture, its become a buisness instead of the hangout it once was. Its no longer a free place to chill. Its now a money machine. They must continue to tweak and poke and prod it to make sure it is constantly making money for more then just keeping the site alive. Because that's just not their goal anymore, I'm afraid. .____.

I know Cash Shop items are necessary to support the site, but it annoys the crap out of me when I see every little thing has a Cash factor. Cars? Oh you have to pay for them now. Demonbusters? Oh you can pay for followers. The Gold Lotto? Who needs luck when you have Cash? Oh and if you want a monopoly on the Cash Shop and the gold shops, all you have to do is drop $100+ on a tank of Watermeats! Screw the economy, we have profit!
And when they do release decent free items, they're 2-10 million gold (which, once again, mostly only chronic Cash users can afford). stressed I knew this site was going to hell when they first mentioned putting in a Cash Shop, but I didn't think it would happen before I grew out of it. burning_eyes
