Stay here/continue coming. I like gaia for it's core meaning what it was when it started off and though those aspects are buried they are still there in a way. I have been a member of this site for years and even tried to get some of my real life friends on it. (Though they never listen to me anyway, I was a proud member so I showed them.) I made so many and participated in so many rps here and met most of my literate Rp friends here and this is where most of them are, if they still come on that is. All the time I used to spend here I know spend on Solia because of how nice the people are and the Mods are a god send. It is so mellow there that if you misplace a topic you can kindly ask a mod and they will without question just move it for you within 30 min. Spam/trolls of any and all kind are nipped in the bud as a mod is always on at all times in every forum. The general population are able to actually have a conversation and and just over all enjoyable.
But I have enjoyed Gaia for so long and it has been part of my routine for so long it's hard for me to just stop going on, and at the same time I don't want to get on because of all the crap. I want to get some GC for some MC like I used to but doing that I feel like encouraging a child for misbehaving. I know there are obviously people still coming on despite this all but is any one getting on but had the amount of time changed for you? Or your willingness to come on?

That's actually a good question. I've been thinking about leaving for a long time, but never did. I like the guilds I am in, and also to change my avatar now and then. It's fun to meet new people and write PM's back and forth. The forums though, are not a place I like to visit anymore. Too many kids, too many people spamming weird stuff, and too many who just don't give a damn.
Although it is hard, it is possible to ignore some of the new changes. The new navigation is somewhat hard to just ignore, but the cash shop updates are not actually needed. Yes, they ARE annoying, and for people wanting what they sell, it's like being in hell. It is almost like you can't be on Gaia for free anymore.
I spent money on Gaia myself, and I don't feel bad about it. I'm thinking of it as supporting what I like about Gaia. I don't like that fish and zOMG! are all about cash though, thus I don't spent any money at all on those 2 shops. 1 cash shop is ok, but no more than that... I bought all my aquarium items on the marketplace, in case anyone wonders.
Gaia lost the feeling of a cute lil' anime community a looong time ago, but I stay because of my friends, the people I like hanging out with. Gaia is not a game, and it's really sad the developers started treating it like it was. If I wanna play, I log WoW. If I wanna discuss and play forum games, I log Gaia. If I wanna chat, I log ICQ. Gaia can never replace all the stuff the internet has to offer, and it never will...

i will always suffer through Gaia's bs. That's who i am. Just because it's tough doesn't mean the tough get going. Solia sounds like heaven now lol. *jealous* anyhow. After Gaia wakes up smells the coffee and has realized that it has sold it's soul maybe things will get better. maybe not. but i have friends here and that's pretty much the only thing keeping me here. I don't use forums because they are a nasty place (13 year olds talking about the sex they had last night, the flamers, the jerks, the trolls, the lack of replies,) i'm 20. 13 year olds should have full out descriptions of sex anywhere. i mean wtf has society come to? Gaia is the horniest bunch of children i have seen.
Rally is decent minus the masses of horny kids.
Towns is a giant f**k feast of horny 13 year olds who really don't know what sex is or how to have it. (makes for hilarious viewing entertainment)
Fishing, well fishing is fishing and i was never good at it. xD
Slots, is a waste of tokens with the little pay out it gives.
Cards, is a waste of tokens but has a higher pay out
Puzzles, take forever for 80-90 gold. and they are the same puzzles
Pinball, is too fast paced and heavily game oriented. Conversation in game is tough.
Love Factori is kinda dumb and it's manageable but it's a pain to play
Word bump is rather decent but it's a solo thing.
zOMG is the only thing that is near next to perfect: minus, the new "updates", the lack of zOMG 2, the lack of anything tooo do, maybe badge questing. but it combines the community and entertainment and the social aspect in an instantaneous environment that i love. just they need to fix their crap X.x
the guilds are pretty decent, i'm only in this one, one i made and a clan that are the most active X.x
but pretty much it's the social aspect i come here for

I like Wordbump too. Only problem is it lags really badly for me, and is buggy. Idle curiosity makes me wonder when was the last time it was revamped.
zOMG is nice. Some awesome people there, but the system itself is laggy (again) and it gets really boring after awhile.
Hardly touch the other games, since they're not much fun for me. Used to play ELF, but even that gets boring.

hanaze_ako zOMG is nice. Some awesome people there, but the system itself is laggy (again) and it gets really boring after awhile. have you tried hide n seek biggrin that could be a game for you biggrin

I only come on here to talk to friends, do the daily chance & booty grab, check out the EI updates (for the EI that I like). That's about it. Like another poster had posted earlier: Chatterbox, Towns, Rally, Skittles World, have all become nothing but sex crazed 13-year-olds (some even as young as 9!!!) that try to re-enact what they think is sex. The most recent MCs have been better than others in the past. One thing that really irritates me is how just about each EI update is now done by a different artist. It's like the original artist of the EI can't think up of a good idea so he/she passes it off to another artist and says "Here, I can't think of anything."

I still come on when I can. I'm so busy lately. but with the changes Gaia has made, it just seems so much less important/fun to me.
