Biography: Kai had a basically normal life, until his thirteenth birthday. On that day, a Worm had taken the form of one of the guests, and went on a rampage, killing everyone there. For some odd reason, the worm spared his life, and just disappeared. Living in an orphanage, Kai began taking up Kendo, and became one of the best there. At eighteen, he had another encounter with the Worm that killed his family, but this time, he had a weapon. He had ended up finding the Sasword Yaiba as well as the Sasword Zecter, allowing him to become the Kamen Rider: Sasword. Using this power, Kai was able to destroy the Worm and obtain vengeance for his parents. He now continues to carry the sword, and fight in the Rider War.
