I was having a discussion, if you will, about who sleeps how depending on their biological sex. He said more guys tend to sleep on their backs while girls sleep more on their stomachs.
I don't know how true that is so this seemed like a pretty good question to take to the spaminator forum!
Personally I sleep more on my stomach than on my sides and I actually rotate right, left and then stomach during the night. I NEVER sleep on my back even as a baby, I would defy the nurses and flip to my tummy.
So I put it to you to debate this seemingly scientific question!

I sleep a lot on my stomach, but I start out on by shifting from one side to the other, before settling down to sleep on my stomach. c:
I only sleep on my back if I'm uncomfortable.

I usually sleep on my back. Then there are times where I positioned myself in a semi side and stomach position.

For some reason I can't fall asleep if I'm on anything other than my side unless I'm dead tired and alomst to the point of passing out >.<

I sleep on the side of my stomach.
So I guess, in between my stomach and my side. It's hard to explain. o-o

I HATE sleeping on my back and stomach. I prefer to sleep on my sides, my left most of the time. During the night I'll flip back and forth between sides. But the only time I can remotely fall asleep on my back, is when I'm on a couch. But I'll usually end up on my side later on O.o. I also noticed that I like to cling to walls, so I'll hate sleeping in like, the middle of the room. And if I go to a friends house, I'll claim the wall XD (I also sleep curled up in the a ball like a cat o3o)

I sleep on my side most of the time and sometimes on my back D: I get sick if I fall asleep on my tummy or ridiculously dizzy @__@ Mostly fall asleep on my side and sometimes wake up on my back xd

usually on my side, but I also sleep kinda twisted sometimes...like, my upper half will be on it's side while the lower will be facing down on the bed. I dunno, it's kinda weird

When I was four I decided that I looked skinniest when I slept on my stomach, so I slept on my stomach exclusively for about ten years. Lately I've been sleeping on my sides and a little on my back as well, though.

Most of the time on my sides, usually its whatever side feels the most comfortable. On a rare occasion, I'll sleep on my stomach but mostly on my sides.

It really depends. I mostly sleep on my back, the whole idea of falling asleep with a girls head on my chest just makes me so relaxed so I usually have a pillow that I hug pathetically sweatdrop
Though if I'm thinking about something or just bothered inside my head I sleep on my side. I only sleep on my stomach when I just fall straight onto the couch or my bed and pass out.

I sleep on my back and side, but I sleep the most peacefully on my side mew ^^ My mother sleeps on her back and side too, so I guess I take after her xD
I've asked this question before too one time, and about 75% of the girls said back or side xD 25% said stomach mew xD
Oh also I sleep REAL peacefully when my GF's big arm is wrapped around me as we sleep mew ^^

i always sleep on my sides. my usual routine is first on my right side, then i flip on my left side, then my right side again and then on my left side again and thats when i usually fall asleep. haha
i could never sleep on my back or stomach. ): so uncomfortable.

I will not sleep on my stomach because of a fear I had when I was a young child.
Mostly I stick to sleeping on my sides. But which side I sleep on depends on what part of the bed I'm on and which way the bed is facing ect ect. ><
Which...I'm not much for cuddling people because it interupts my direction of sleep. Even if I'm on my side and comfortable...once a person lays in front of me...I'm blocked and everthing is thrown off and I can't cuddle, and I have to switch direction and lay on my opposite side.
I do prefer sleeping next to walls.
But I will sleep on my back too...at some point in the night.
