Anyway I found this awesome video while researching snuff films. (because my bf doesn't believe that there is one) and I'm reading Gods of Death by Yaron Svoray, which sadly isn't all that great... and does lack sources... but I still think that there is one snuff film out there.

Snuff Films are definitely real. Consider this: People record people fighting, like Bum fights and cat fights, so why not killing someone? Granted, most do not leak to the public in fear of being arrested and sent to the electric chair. Some people do it as a prize from the killing, some do it to relive, some are just sick minded people.

I have no problem believing these exist, especially with sick people out there. Wasn't there an instance where a kid killed himself on a webcam--it was OD--and people were typing for both arguments, kill yourself and don't do it! until the cops came in with the mother.
I just never want to find one. I don't think I could stomach it.

Sadly I'm one of those people that could stomach watching a snuff film.
Then again I have a very morbid look on life, and believe death should be celebrated not mourned (even though snuff films shouldn't be celebrated, that's just wrong).

That cannibal dude arwin meiwes videotaped it when he ate his "victims" p***s and killed him. That was a sick story, mostly because the other guy wanted it. Apparently eating your own p***s before willingly being killed is a fetish as well.
@Dee: Apparently when something like that happens, if the person actually kills themsevles, everyone in the chatroom is liable for jailtime if no one calls the cops.

I'm sure there are snuff films out there. You've got sick people. If there's sex tapes then of course there's death tapes.
One of my favorite genres out there is "mock-snuff" such as the August Underground Trilogy.
