Hello and welcome.
This RP is mainly set for those
who want to roleplay using the A Song of Ice and Fire
backgroung, but not major characters.
Although, you may use any character,
you must PM me to confirm, so that
we do not have duplicates.

There is no storyline here, really.
Its not a recreation of anything
that happens in the books.
Just daily life in Westeros
(or wherever you are).

There are rules:
1. No Godmods.
2. Deaths need to be confirmed by both players
and myself. This is so that if
you grow tired of your character,
you may have them killed and
replace them.
3. There is a limit to how many
times you can make a new
character.
I think that thrice is a good amount of deaths.
4. Of course, ToS rules apply here.
But, since we've all read the books
or at least most of them,
getting really into character and saying
the occasional "********" or two is fine.
Just don't go overboard.
5. If you are indeed going to use
any examples from the books,
and feel that it could possibly be a spoiler,
please, be vague and try not to give away too much.
6. Literacy is preferred.
I am not asking for perfect grammar,
or spelling each and every time, but your best effort
would be nice.

That should be it for that.
Now, onto character building.

Name:

Once you've filled this out, post it* and
you may start in another post.

(*PM me first, as said before,
if you are choosing a major character).

(**Map.)

From here, pretty much the regular.
Set up your own setting and we'll all
take off from there.

Enjoy yourselves then darlings~

Her feet hurt from walking. It had already been a fortnight since she had left home. The mule she was leading seemed to also be tired and began to walk slower.
"Its been a long day, huh girl." She slowed to a stop and stroked the animal's head. "Maybe time for a break?" Rose tugged her to the side of the dirt road beneath the shade of a tree. The both of them had taken a detour to King's Landing, or so she thought at least. Little trails leading from small town to another. Her mother had instructed she do this, to help better her chances of finding places to sleep nightly and for her to be stopped by more men as well.
So far, to her disgust but not dismay, she had only found old men and idiot farm boys. None of them suited her nor could grasp her attention enough for even a consideration of any sort.
"At this rate, I'll die an old and happy woman." Rose told her grazing mule. She was no maid. Her parents still had yet to find out about the night she went off to loose her maidenhead to a boy down the road.
His family had been there for a while and they both were of a similar age. Rose was just a year older, but it did not matter. At the age of five and ten was when she went to meet him in the fields. It wasn't until later that she had found out that he was leaving. His father had just died, causing his mother to want to go live with her brother in the North.
Jaermy, where have you gone? It might have been you I would have married by now.
She opened her bag of hard cheese and tore off a piece, watching the birds fly from the trees. It wasn't until they flew from the tree she was under that she heard the approach of someone behind her.

"Eve, girl, do I smell supper or did somethin' die?"

Eve looked up from embrodery. She was alone for once, her companions absent. Before her stood a road dusty man not older then twenty. A tiny squeal of joy pulled itself from her inner being, and she tossed aside the pillow without another thought. Eve jumped up and hugged the lad tightly. Through his thin tunic, she felt boiled leather and corded mucles.

"Renaud! What are you doing here? You weren't due until next week!"

"Sir Alde has busy with your Lord husband. He was anxcious to sleep in a warm bunk tonight with, instead of on the cold, lonely ground."

He pushed her back to arms length.

"By the Seven! You're just growing like a little sprout, aren't you, my little Apple?"

Eve flushed, and looked down.

"Thank you, Ranaud. Have you been bunked yet? You must stay for at least a week! Gracie will see to it that your Sir Alde and escort are properly housed."

She called for the middle-aged house master.

Viconia heard light hearted laughter behind her, and turned. Two distant cousins were pointing and staring at her back, gossping among themselves. She forced a smile to her face.

"Adema, Errin, what's so funny? You know I love my jokes!"

They apparently started to asnwer, but scampered away from sight when a hand dropped onto her shoulder. Viconia turned yet agian, to see...nothing. She shuddered inwardly. This is an old place, with much hurt. Too many ghosts...

"Who are you and what do you want?" Rose eyed the man who had come from behind. He was much taller than her, and well built despite his thin frame. He had a bow and some arrows, one of which he was holding.
He met her stare and remained silent. They both stood still a moment before he let out a sigh and put the arrow back into the quarrel. Rose moved defensively at this and put up her fists.
"That won't do you any good sweetling." said a voice from her left. She jumped a bit and realized then that there were now three men standing under the shade of the tree with her. Her heart began to race and panic rose in her gut. Trying her best to keep it out of her voice, she looked to the one on her left, "What do you want?"
"Easy now. Don't go thinking anything rash." He smiled at her. Not a bad looking fellow. Equal in height with the archer who had appeared first. His hair was a mess of yellow and brown cut short. His eyes seemed sincere, but she couldn't take the chance."We are mostly harmless." He took a step toward her.
Something twinged in Rose then, telling her to run, but something also saying stay.
"That doesn't answer my question. What do you want?"
This time the man to her right answered. He was roughly her height with dark brown hair and a beak of a nose." We were only hunting my lady. Nothing to fear, we are not bandits or rapers."
"Honest hunters." The man to her left bowed.
"Oh hell, Elwyn. You're just making her more suspicious."
"What's there to be 'spicious of Gregor?" Elwyn rose from his bow.
Rose watched them talk back and forth. Meanwhile keeping an eye on the archer, who up to this point had been silent. He lowered his head and sat on a tree root. He didn't even pay mind to her. None of them now paid mind to her. Left in such an uneasy position, Rose began to step closer towards her mule when suddenly she was noticed again.
"My lady, why don't you come with us? A young woman such as yourself shouldn't be wandering without an escort. There are still many dangerous men roaming about. Small towns are no exception." Elwyn called.
"And what would I be left to do if my escorts were also said dangerous men?" She leered at him, then Gregor and the unamed one, who was standing now looking at her. "I do thank you for the offer, but I fear I must be on my way." She turned to walk away when her arm was grabbed. Her heart in her throat she turned back to see that the archer was the one holding her.
"I suggest that you reconsider, my lady." His voice was a whisper, but stern enough to make Rose feel as if the color melted from her whole being. She could only nod as he let go of her arm.

[Make sure Rose gets to Highgarden; we need people with each other and Eve/Ranaud are all the way in Dorn.]

Eve arranged for the rooms, via Gracie and other house servants. Later that evening, they had a private meal, just the two siblings; Eve's Lord Husband was still tied up in his study with Alde. Eve pretended like she always did what went on in there; the man had done his duty to his Wife; he was allowed to have as many boys in the bedroom as he wanted. These "discussions" gave Eve plenty of time to catch up with her favorite brother. She prayed silently to the Seven that her husband took a fondness to Alde; she much, much wanted to see Ranaud more; it was lonely here.

They talked on and on, late into the night. Finally, the moon high in the sky, Eve yawned and stood. Her brother finished his last sip or so of wine, and stood with her. He took her yawn as his cue to leave. The boy gave a drunken half bow to his sister, and started to leave.

"I'll see you in the morning, won't I, Ranaud? You're not a dream?"

The tone in Eve's voice, half plaintive, half sorrowful, and half longing made him paused. Ranaud turned back to Eve. He smiled his special lopsided grin that Eve just lived for.

"Of course I'm not, sister. Why would I be?"

He bent down and brushed a kiss across Eve's lips, stopping any further protests.

"Good night, sweetling."

Ranaud left for his lonely quarters; he didn't hear Eve's whispered "good night" in return. Presently, she left as well for her own soft bed. As expected, Husband was nowhere in sight and the bed was still made. A servant appeared and started to help Eve undress for the night. Wanting to be alone with her turmoil’d thoughts, she dismissed her as soon as possible. Eve fell asleep almost as soon as her head hit the pillow. Ranaud was not so lucky. He tossed and turned half the night away, before finally he got up to take a good long piss. Sleep claimed him as the sun was hinting about rising.

Meanwhile, Viconia was just having the time of her life that night. She’d managed to be invited to one of Margery’s famous nightfall fetes. She didn’t sleep a wink of the night. Instead, Viconia drank, partook of certain questionable activities, and danced with possible suitors. She only retired after the sun was peaking over the horizon. She was spending the night with her tonight was her favorite girl, Anne-Marie. Viconia giggled drunkenly when she had some issues with her dress.

“Annie, love, the dress is trying to eat me!”

“Annie” immediately saw the problem: Viconia was trying to take off the crimson silk gown without undoing the stays. She smiled.

“Stop struggling; you’re only making it worse.”

Anne-Marie not only fixed Viconia’s problem, but even got her out of all of her clothes save an under shift. She climbed back into bed and Viconia followed as best she could. Meaning she tripped into the feather down. This caused another storm of drunken giggles. Which caused Anne-Marie to laugh quietly as well. Viconia shushed her in a loving way.

“Someone might hear us! Shh…”

Viconia snuggled into Anne-Marie’s warmth, kissed her goodnight, and closed her eyes. The strong wine took its effect and she was out in moments.

At least they let me ride on a horse. Rose mused to herself as they rode. It had already been three days since she had met her three companions, and three days of not knowing where she was going or why exactly.
"Somewhere that you would never have known to look." Was the quiet archer's words when she had asked of their destination. She didn't know exactly what he meant.
None of them could have know about my search for a husband, unless they've been following me and asking after me. Nor would they know about Jaermy. What then could I be searching for and find where they're taking me? She pondered a moment, absently playing with the horse's mane when she noticed a new sound.
"Water?" She questioned.
"Aye, m'lady has a good ear. We are by the river." Elwyn answered cheerfully.
"The Mander? What are we doing out here?"
"Travel reasons. Faster to go on water than on horseback." Gregor answered, leading them all towards the bank. A dock with a waiting boat was visible down the side. It looked only big enough to hold her and her companions.
"Where is it that we need to get to so soon?" Rose could feel an unsettling notion in her belly. No one answered her, however. Gregor only offered her a hand to help her off the horse she borrowed from Elwyn. She repeated her question and received the same response. The same feelings from when she had met them told her once more to run, and also to stay. This time, she let the first voice win and turned, speeding off into the brush.
She listened to them call after her, and soon a horse's hooves pounding into the ground not far behind. Taking a quick turn around a tree in attempts to throw off whoever was chasing her was her mistake. No sooner had she had done so, than a second man on a horse come racing to her. Frozen in fear she clung tight to the tree she stood by and listened to him jump down and approach her. A hand grabbed her shoulder and with ease peeled her away, pulling her against a flat and hard chest. A arm wrapped around her, restraining both of her arms and a second around shoulders. The steel in one of the arm's hands was close enough for her to smell. Eyes still tightly shut, Rose listened to his heavy breath, waiting to be raped or killed or anything that was planned. Instead, the archer's voice came from in front of her, making her open her eyes. He had his bow and arrow ready, aimed at her.
"Drop y'arrow." Her captor rasped.
"Drop your sword." The archer called back.
She heard more steel being pulled from a leather scabbard near her, but Rose's position did not let her see who's. Elwyn came riding up next to the archer, his sword also unsheathed.
"You're outnumbered. Surrender her and leave with your life."
"Drop all o' yer steel and arrows and I may decide so."
All were silent for a moment, before the archer's stance relaxed and he lowered his bow. Elwyn rested his sword arm and placed his sword across his lap. The sword behind her was stuck into the dirt. "One silver stag and we'll call it a day."
"One golden dragon and you'll leave unharmed." The archer withdrew his arrow and placed it back into the quarrel. Her captor seemed to truly ponder the outcome for a long moment before finally reaching out his palm in acceptance.
"Gold first, then y'll have her."
The archer turned to Elwyn who gave him the gold piece frowning. He slowly walked to the man holding her and clapped the trade into his hand. Rose was pulled forward by the archer as the other man stepped back taking his sword into both hands. Without a word, he swung. A great pain began to race through Rose's upper thighs as the archer left her to fall. Quick as lightning he drew, aimed and fired an arrow into the running man's back. Within seconds, he drew, aimed and fired once more, shooting the now falling man through the neck. Tears she didn't realize were there now streamed down her cheeks as the archer picked her up. She hugged his neck and held tight against him.
"Hah! Never said how long he'd go unharmed. The fool." She heard Gregor's rough voice say.
The archer put her down on a large rock and lifted her skirts to look at the gashes across her legs. Somewhat embarrassed from this, Rose tried to think for something to say. As she opened her mouth to speak, his voice beat her to it.
"Highgarden." He said. "We're taking you to Highgarden."

Eve woke just as the sun was beginning to crawl across the sky. She gauged the time to be about eight or so in the morning. Not too bad for being up all night, talking. The sound of sword play echoed in through the open windows. Pulling her robe tight around her small form, Eve walked over the the balcony and looked down into the yard below. Her brother was pressing another squire from Godsgrace, hard.

High, high, high, low, left, right. Eve's lips mouthed her brother's attack pattern. High, high, high, low, left, right. Over and over again he swung "kill" swings at the opposite squire. Eve knew it was a bad pattern Renaud fell into, setting an attack like that; he would never be a great knight, fighting that way. She didn't dare tell him, though. That was the Weapon's Master's job. Said Knight was off to one side, talking to another Knight. Eve took him to be Ser Alde.

She stayed just long enough to watch Renaud "kill" her squire and returned to her room. Eve broke her fast on black bread and honey, and dressed. Her husband, Garith, met her in the spiral stair case leading down to the Large Hall. He wasn't a large man, nor was he small; he wasn't comely, nor was he homely. As far as Eve considered Garith, he just...was. She met him with a smile.

"Garith. I didn't hear you come in last night. I trust you slept well?"

"My lady is kind to ask. The servants tell me you were up half the night, talking with your brother?"

Eve noted the way he was avoiding the question, but didn't call him on it. She maintained her smile.

"I hadn't seen him in nigh on a year. I couldn't help myself."

This drew a smile out of Garith.

"Of course, Eve. I would've done the same, were it my brother."

I doubt you would have had the same motives... Then again, Eve thought. It is you. Perhaps...but no, I mustn't dwell on such thoughts... Aloud, she said:

"Are our children about?"

"Robert is out in the yard, waiting his turn at the tilts. Tywin is begging Ser Gurney to let him a sword. Little Rynna is with the governess, Chrystinne, embroidering."

So young! Already they are begging for blood! Eve smiled again, and thanked Garith. He took this as dismissal and started his way back up the stairs. Eve went to join Rynna; she needed something soothing, to quiet her still jittery nerves. Embroidery had always calmed Eve before.

Viconia woke slowly to the sound of cheerful whistling. She cracked open one eye to see Anne-Marie was up and bustling around. She groaned and buried herself farther into the soft covers.

"Annie, love, what ungodly hour of the day is it?"

"Almost noon."

Viconia groaned again; she'd only been aside for five hours.

"Gods..."

Anne-Marie smiled, and moved over to the closet, and selected a nice, airy confection of a gown.

"Get up, m'lady. You'll be late for Margery's luncheon. And you know what Lady Margery will say if you're late."

This drew a quiet laugh from Viconia. She rolled over onto her back and began to imitate Margery's voice, complete with hand motions. This amused Anne-Marie to no end.

"Oh Vicky, my silly dear. Why were you late?...You were up at my fete? Everyone else was on time...too much wine? Tsk, tsk."

Vionia stretched like a cat, pointing her toes sharply.

"She's too cheerful for her own good."

The night air was cool after having stood so long in the kitchen. They had found an abandoned inn not far from the bank and decided to stay the night. Since there was no cook, Rose offered her services. Gregor had offered her a chair while she cooked, but she wouldn't take it.
"I'd rather my legs not be idle and have them become useless while I sit." She told him. Their meal was a mixed vegetable soup and a roasted rabbit Archer had caught earlier.
He's too quiet. Obviously he's not a mute, and I've heard him talk late at night with the others. But what could-
"Thinking of running off again?" Archer's voice cut through her thoughts, making her jump and turn. When she realized it was him alone, Rose felt her face flush.
"No, the kitchen was getting unbearable. I needed clean air." She looked down as she spoke. Her heart was fluttering and her legs began to throb harder from her previous quick movements. Rose could feel him looking at her. When she looked up, his eyes told her that he was drunk, yet under good control somehow. He was half smiling, but his eyes were mournful and tired.
Suddenly uncomfortable, Rose tried to think of something to say, but again he beat her to speaking.
"I think its time you retired for the night m'lady." Archer said, turning to walk back inside.
She followed him to a room up the stairs when a stunning realization hit her.
"There's only one room." She whispered, stopping where she stood.
"And it is your room for the night." Archer opened the door and set a candle on a small table. "Two of us will sleep in here with you, while one stands guard. We can't have you run off again." His voice was calm as he pulled a sleep dress from a chest at the foot of the table. Rose stood dumbly in the doorway, trying to take in Archer's words.
"I pulled first watch, so Gregor and Elwyn will be staying in here with you first." He laid the dress onto the bed and walked to her.
"Goodnight." He bowed his head at her and began down the steps.

No sooner had she finished changing than a a knock an Elwyn's voice came to her door. She welcomed them both in and asked where they would sleep. Gregor explained that he and Elwyn would sleep on the floor if that was more settling to her. It was, but she still offered sharing the bed. It was big enough for all of them to lay comfortably. Gregor declined and Elwyn accepted graciously.
"Elwyn." She asked as he blew out the candle.
"Yes? What is it m'lady?" He yawned.
"What is his real name?" Rose turned onto her side to face him at the other edge of the bed. After a moment of silence, he sighed.
"I cannot answer that for you, I'm afraid." He turned over, facing his back to her. "Get some sleep now."

After many attempts to sleep, she found she could not. About to rise, the door opened suddenly, making Rose close her eyes and feign sleep. Luckily she was already on her side and not facing the door. Rose heard Archer quietly wake Elwyn.
"Time already?" He grumbled.
She heard Gregor stir on the floor and rise as well. A twinge in her heart caused her to shift a bit, and roll onto her belly. They began to whisper something that Rose couldn't make out. After a moment, two sets of footsteps left the room and someone sat on the side of the bed. He promptly moved closer to her and began to play with her hand and run a hand along her shoulder and arm.
This went on for a while before who ever it was moved back to the opposite end and fell asleep.
The next morning, Rose woke face to face with him.

[Hm...is Archer her old childhood lover? Naw, couldn't be. XD]

Eve spent most of her day with Rynna and few other ladies of the estate. She stopped only for lunch and to run over figures and what not with their house Maester. She didn't see, or try to see, Renaud until the day was almost over. In fact, she stumbled upon him quite suddenly in the public bathing area. Godsgrace was an old, old place with reaches back into old Valria. As such, it still kept up the custom for public bathing areas...for a fee, of course.

He was coming out and she was passing by. His hair was wet and dripping, but tied back to stay out of his face. Renaud had opted to not put on his leathers yet, and was just wearing an under-tunic, his weapons belt, and his tights. A faint flush rose to Eve's face that she tried to push away. Renaud didn't seem to notice; in fact, he didn't seem to notice his sister until he felt eyes staring at him. He bowed from the waist.

"My lady."

"Renaud. Will you dine with me again this evening? We...we have much to discuss, still."

Renaud cocked his head, and nodded once. He knew what Eve meant, and he knew what he was accepting.

"Of course, my lady. Now if you will excuse me, I have much to do between now and then."

With that, Renaud left. Eve suddenly realized she was shaking again. She hugged herself, feeling cold in the sweltering heat and hurried back to the main keep. There was much to prepare.

♪ ♫ ♫ ♪

Viconia was late, of course. She's dawdled too long in the bed, and then too long in the tub with Anne-Marie. She did heard an earful from the Lady Margery, and deflected her question skillfully. Instead, Viconia focused most of her attention onto the gossips had hand. She never gossiped herself, but didn't hesitate to partake of this guilty pleasure; it allowed her some insight into others, if not information itself. The only thing these Ladies of the Realm were talking about now is King Robert's decision to appoint the Warden of the North, Eddard Stark, as his Hand.

"Let's hope he doesn't melt."

"He's a frigid one, that."

"Not to frigid to father a b*****d, I hear. Something Snow."

Several titters echoed around the table over their main course of honeyed goose and cooked apples.

"Wonder if I could get him to unfreeze?"

"I doubt it, my lady. He won't even talk of the incident now. Not that it stops the rumors."

"Rumors? What rumors? Everyone knows Snow was fathered off Ashara Dayne."

This drew surprised comments from all around the table. Viconia noted who, but kept sipped her wine silently. The speaker went on with a nod.

"Yes. That's why she threw herself off the cliff. Out of grief, they say."

Another women spoke up.

"Pish-posh! It's wasn't Dayne, it was Wylla, a nurse maid at Dayne's house."

The conversation only dissolved from there.

Elwyn was especially fond of how Archer and Gregor had found him earlier in the morning. Rose had thought it to be someone else's face that she would first see, not Elwyn's. Gregor was the first to barge into the room when he heard Rose shriek. Archer only shook his head and turned to walk away.
"My pardons my lady. I did not mean to frighten you at all." Elwyn said to her in his chipper way. Rose had already forgiven him and told him to not worry and that she was just startled by it was all.
The Mander was flowing at a good pace for the rest of the way to Highgarden. Upon arrival, she still could not believe that she was where she was. Archer seemed to be as unsettled as her once they began walking. Entering the city and seeing the livelihood of its people made her feel even less comfortable. She knew no one, save for her three companions, but even then, they were as good as strangers to her.
"Why not find us some food then, hm?" She breathed looking at the three of them.
"Wonderful idea m'lady!" Elwyn hooked his arm into hers and started their stroll.

Rose noticed him watching her all throughout their meal and found that she could hardly eat because of it. There was an ominous feeling she could not shake off. He wanted something, but what, she could not say.
Moving her food around on the plate, Rose tried to stretch out the time. Once the meal was done, she just knew that something was going to happen. The fading laughter and smiles from Elwyn and Gregor only made her more anxious.
"My lady, I'd like you to come with me." Archer stood.
"Oh come now, she hasn't finished eating." Elwyn said innocently, but looked just as anxious as Rose felt.
"She hasn't been eating for the last few minutes. I think now is a good time." The archer glared back at his friend, who remained silent and proceeded to look down at his plate. Gregor had no complaints, but looked at them all with his face full of seriousness and frown lines.
"Wh-where are we going?" She asked him, frozen to her seat.
To that he said nothing and came around the table to help her up. They began to walk towards the city gates and left the premises of it completely. A small village appeared down the small dirt road they walked. Feeling more tense than ever Rose felt her skin instantly cover itself in goose prickles when her escort slowed his walk and turned to face her.
"Before we get to the village, there's something..." He was looking at her the same way he had the night before, though it felt much longer ago than just last night. The same mourning and longing in his eyes were what made her back up against the tree. With each step back, he took a step forward, even after she could no longer step. Archer stood within inches of her now, his face close to hers.
Afraid, Rose shut her eyes and clenched her fists tightly, waiting for the worst. But he only sighed heavily, his breath warm on her neck and chest.
"Come." Was all he said as he backed away and started back down the way to the small houses.
She followed and stood with him at the end of the road, looking at the deserted place.
"Rose." He spoke as if she were not standing next to him. "There's a story to this place you should know." Archer's voice was soft and sad. Again he turned to look at her and in fear, Rose began to shake. He touched her arm, either ignoring or not noticing her trembles. "Rose, a few years ago, you fell in love with a boy named Jaermy. But he left you not long after." He grew silent, as if he was struggling with what to say next. The flutter in Rose's heart was hard to fight. She wanted, no needed, to hear more.
"What do you know about him?" She whispered.
"He moved to this village." He looked away from her, and she couldn't take it. Grabbing his shoulders, Rose shook him a little.
"What happened? Are you-"
"No." He said sharply. "I am not Jaermy."
"Then where is he?" She shook him again, desperation clear in her tone.
"It was his dying wish to have you know, that he was going to leave to find you. But the day he was leaving, this place was pillaged and he was killed." The flatness of his voice made the fear rise higher in Rose's throat. "He loved you very much. And I can see why." He moved closer to her, taking her chin in his hand. She jerked her head away and stepped away.
"How do you know this? Who are you? How would you know what his wish was!" Rose sobbed, knowing and fearing his next words.
"Because I'm the one who killed him."

She found herself running and sobbing still when she passed though the city gates again. Who was she looking for? I don't know... Her eyes were blurry from tears. When she shut them and tried to wipe them away, she suddenly hit something.
"Lady Viconia! Are you alright?" She heard women's voices all around her now. Still sitting on the ground, in shock, Rose looked up at the person she had run into.

Eve totally chickened out at the diner. She talked about everything that she hadn't meant to talk about. And they each went their seperate ways after the last glass of wine, the last goodbye kiss. Eve berated herself; she could feel time running out. What if they didn't get a chance to be alone together again? What if she didn't see him until next time? Or worse; he was killed on the road. An involenatry sob rose up in Eve's throat.

Viconia's flash of annoyance was covered by a look of odd amusement. She brushed a hand down over her dress, flattening away any wrinkles. Viconia spoke up over further shouts of explanations; she waved away the approaching guards who actually obeyed her for once.

"It's alright, my ladies. Luckily, this dress took the brunt of the blow."

Nervous titters arose. Viconia payed them no mid as she studied Rose's face.

"What's your name, child?"

Rose might as well have been Viconia's age.

Still in shock Rose found that she could not speak when asked a question. From the guards approaching and the highborn air about those who now surrounded her, the one she must have bowled into would obviously have some sort of punishment. So she said the first thing to come to mind.
"I-I am sorry. I didn't see you. Is your dress alright? I can work to buy you a new one. Really I promise I will. I'm sorry my lady. It was an accident." The words spilled at a rapid pace from her mouth. She realized that everyone had now stopped to watch her and see what was happening. Tears from earlier and sheer embarrassment welled up in her eyes. A sob build up in her throat when she heard a familiar voice call to her.
"Rose! There you are!" She turned to see Elwyn breathless and pushing his way through the crowd. Gregor was not far behind him. Frightened and in such shock and confusion, Rose jumped to him, clinging with her arms around his neck. He smoothed his hand down her hair and shoulders.

Location: Currently traveling and in Highgarden.
Description: Tall (roughly 6'2") and lean with dirty blond hair that he keeps short. Blue eyes and a genuine smile always flashing. A very flirty and unmarried older man. Usually very happy and in a good mood. Not a terribly good swordsman, however.
History: Grew up a simple stable boy dreaming to be a knight. He made friends eventually with other stable boys working for the House of Florent which is where he came to train and eventually gain knighthood. Both of his parents are dead, but died of a pox. Elwyn is not fond of talking of them.

Gender: Male
Profession: Hedgeknight
Location: Currently traveling and in Highgarden.
Description: Shorter and stouter, dark brown hair (with some hints of silver) and has a very visible receding hairline, but hair down to his shoulders elsewhere. Very mean and gruff man who frowns a lot, earning him his monstrous facial lines all over his face. Usually means well and is straight to the point. Dislikes to be mocked in anyway as regards to his common name with The Mountain That Rides. Long-fused with a huge explosive rage.
History: Born to a married serving wench and hedgeknight, Gregor grew up in the Vale, closer to the House of Royce. He and Elwyn have similar tales of how they became knights. The only difference is the time. They met up along the road when Elwyn had bumped into Gregor at a very poor time. After their fight, they came to travel together and not long after, found Archer.

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Profession: Archer and traveler.
Location: Last seen in a village just outside Highgarden

History: Not much is known. Recently discovered that he is the one who killed Rose's lover and travels with Elwyn and Gregor. The two hedgeknights had found him during travels of their own near the Mander, half-dead.
