Does anyone know of any good Japanese literature translated into English? (I don't know enough Japanese yet to read the stories in Japanese.)
I'm currently reading
Kwaidan: Stories and Studies of Strange Things by Lafcadio Hearn which can be accessed at
Project Gutenberg.
I also got
The Tale of Genji from my library, though I haven't gotten to read it yet, and I own a book of haiku (which consequently makes a lot more sense when you understand Japanese moras).
What other Japanese literature is there?
