have you talked to the bullys parents? or possibly go to court if you have to http://www.aboutautismlaw.com/
if both school and police ignored your request, by law it can be considered human neglect or even disdain (i forgot the real word for it but my friends told me last Wednesday bout it sweatdrop )
If you don't want to go that far, you can always have an IEP meeting or possibly even protesting if others in your district feel the same http://www.examiner.com/x-2195-Autism-Examiner~y2009m1d15-Autism-and-bullying-at-school
even in "With the light: raising an autistic child" volume 2 in the back has copies of people with autism rights law
hope this helped heart

im only 13, but the best thing i could think of is to transfer him to a new school, and keep the fact that he has autism a secret, so that wont happen...but if its notice able in his facial features, then maybe he should have a tutor at home...it will be a more comfortable enviorment for him, and he will learn to bond with the tutor, and he will feel like thats one of his family members or something! whee

well I think maybe the first try could be talking to the bully's parents. Bullying is an inmature or childish behavior, and I dont't get the point on making fun about somebody who had no choice in such a thing

let him deal with it on his own.. keeping him away from peers only makes him more dependent on you and you won't always be there for him... bullies are normal and it's not like he'll be with them for life people change drastically in high school
