Gaia just took a nice big page out of the myspace book by adding that little bar at the bottom of the page IMO.

There are differences but not a whole lot

I love how the Quick Links is apparently the Spur of the moment Automatic CLAN BUTTON fix and how there is still NO CLANS on the MAIN NAV buttons. Cheap dirty little fish terds XD

Actually I wouldn't be surprised in this apparent partnership with Facebook that Facebook was like "heeey Gaia, rip our stuff off, make it a bit different and you'll owe us 5/10ths of your soul" and Gaia said, "Sure I take it up the butt, just be gentle and no kissing on the lips" biggrin if they were going to steal facebook items, I say that they should have stolen the facebook IM service.

I worked for AOL for 15 yrs. I *never* had so many IM problems as we do here. They never timed out or shut down on us in the middle of a conversation!! "ohwait... gotta reload my IMs." =P

I actually HAD TROUBLE logging off earlier...because the logout button is now among the smallest text on the screen.

I've never seen this layout that Gaia has on Myspace, so I think it's from Facebook.

well to be accurate:

Facebook started the trend. (Instant messaging was done on this bar)
Myspace somehow was able to take the whole entire concept minus an applications bar. (probably how they got away with it) Initially there was the MyspaceIM with skype to download.
Gaia then gets this footer bar so it's not even original.
(Application bar is set with a link bar instead (same diff?). and I kinda feel like I did download myspaceIM with the way that the GIM pops up razz )

i kinda can't wait for the better more stability of the Facebook IM system to just be better in Gaia's footer bar.
