The (sort of) new lotto game...personally I don't think its a good idea. I mean, getting people to fork out gold for lottery tickets online...this is just so wrong. I know we've also got blackjack and slots, and there's been a recent influx of raffles, but this is just wrong.
Then again, think positive: at least the tickets cost gold and not cash.
Views anyone?

Well, I have nothing against it. It takes no real money, in one way or another, so in my eyes it's still a harmless game. I don't play it myself, but I see nothing bad in it.

QFT I'm happy it's not cash, or costs like 1k a game. I guess it's just another way of trying to rule the economy again. Pathetic, but oh well...

Is this their way of compensating for a lagging Market Place?

Is this their way of compensating for a lagging Market Place? The thought did cross my mind...it seems fairly self-obvious that any payout is only a fraction of what the population is spending on the lotto. Then again, we'll probably never get any real numbers to work on.

it seems to me that the past numbers have started with a 30+ number or close to 30, so i don't know how "random" random is. but the quick picks really makes me lose money. hence why i stopped because the odds are so tough. X.x
but yes i could see how this could be addicting and addicting kids into the lottery and not just that lottery but the State lotteries for those 18+

RIGs are worse for underage gambling. They require actual money and are not-so-cleverly disguised.

I was under the impression that the Gold Lotto existed to slow down the rampant gold inflation?
Since tickets cost gold, not cash, it's a decent sink to get some of the excessive gold out of the system...

Okay, so wait. Think about it for a second.
Gaia is banning the cigs to make sure people don't smoke, but here they're promoting gambling with the lotto....
Anyone see where I'm going with this?
