*Background: Atomic the Echidna (or Atom for short), who's full name is really Atamalias is a rather optimistic echidna with a taste for adventure and action. He spends most of his time treasure hunting, but happens to own his own detective agency along with his two friends, Nexus the Chameleon and Blitz the Hedgehog. The agency is known as Ventrex Detective agency and is a short time rival of the famous Chaotix Detective agency. Atom's clan is distantly related to the Knuckles clan and at one point in time, one of his grandfathers was also a guardian of the master emerald.
