Now Gaia is haveing updates for cars, but sadly, Gaia still wants our money, so sadly, now we have to pay cash for new cars...

yeah, I liked the idea but then i read...."for purchase with gaia cash" and that's kinda B.S. but whatever. it's dumb and Gaia needs to actually make it's financial statements available to the public. it makes no Sense that Gaia isn't under Chapter 11 so this whole pushing for more money is just b.s. and UnGaian

And not just new cars, it seems older ones too? Because they said new members get a Scion xB. Nothing about any of the other models. >/ What a load of crap.

I know. It looked so good and then they tacked those two words in there. xp
They really need to balance out updates that require cash (Evolving Item reports, RIGs, Monthly Collectables, Cash Shop, etc) and a few upgrades with no cash.

Wow...EVERYBODY got in ahead of me... sad sad
I was like "hey, this seems like a nice idea" till I saw the evil GC coming up again. Seems that you will have to pay even to change your car model next time (goodbye free trade-ins). It seems as if Gaia is actually TRYING to ruin every good idea that pops out.
Sure, rally and all that takes server space and development time, and all kinds of other things that need money. But then, the major Scion advertising should be worth something, not to mention all the sponsor rally items (like the silly Sour Patch wheel that only gives that moronic looking buddy, or the Knight Rider stickers and all that).
Then again, if its such a money drain, JUST GET RID OF IT. No one will miss rally much anyway. Then again, I guess Craig is really just trying to milk Koichi (and all the other nice cows out there) dry.

Oh, and about financial statements: Where I live, all listed companies MUST publish (and make publicly available) financial statements at least yearly. Something about accounting regulations.
So. Is Gaia listed? Not sure how US accounting regulation works, since (a) I'm not an accountant and (b) I don't even live in the US razz

The U.S. is sposed to publish financial statements according to their accounting periods. which could be bi-annually or annually. i'm not sure about quarterly but we did do stuffs about quarters. But then again, yahoo/google search for Gaia financial statements just brings up a gaiam which is completely different. grrr. I am almost to the point of going into my business college's libraries and etc. for financial tools in order to attempt to find these blasted reports. On topic now: Yeah it does seem like they are going to charge you to swap cars due to it saying swap now or be royally f***ed after this change. except there's no cars O.o annnddd there's no Pirate Ship and etc in there still lol. Yes Gaia seems like they are attempting to incorporate a money maker into anything Gaian.
