Well?
Lately I'm seeing all these people who were arguing just succumb to who knows what and flash out the, "I love you guys/I'm sorry" card.

I haven't seen anyone truly voice their opinion without getting shot down. Why not!
Voice you're ******** opinion here!

What you hate about the Petition idea.
What do you like about it?
How this guild is going downhill?
How this guild should go up hill?

All I have seen lately is arguing, arguing, and what do you know more arguing.

We all love each other; so stop saying that you do. If you didn't you wouldn't be here unless you wanted to start drama. And since we all love each other why can't we all be open to new ideas OR stay the same.

Look I know we have that Complaints/Suggestion Sticky, but that thing hasn't been posted in since '08.

Basically this thread is a "voice your opinion and let people read them with open ears or a cringing face."
Seriously, say what you want to say. Don't be afraid.

I'll start if I have to (ignore if you feel like it):

The second thing, why the hell is everyone jumping down on everyone's back? We have people shunning other people, people complaining about their position, people who are afraid to speak. Just because one idea was pitched that not everyone liked we all blew a hissy fit (including me). I'm sorry CREW, but I just think you guys were the ones jumping the gun here with this whole petition thing. Why couldn't we just vote on whether or not we should have petitions? Some people liked it, some didn't. Where the hell was the democracy on that factor?
Now I'm not blaming the crew. I'm blaming everyone (even myself) I think either we're so used to change or no change that fighting begins to occur or some people (like me) just want drama.

(By the way I emphasized CREW like that because everytime I see someone spell crew as "kroo" I gag.)

To lazy to read/didn't understand what I was saying:
Stop jumping down everyone's throat and let's discuss the situation of the guild instead of making rash decisions.

Note: If you're going to flame me then do it, just do it to where it makes sense. Persuade me to agree with you! That is what I love, when someone throws something so awesome in my face that I have to agree with them.

anyway gthb, you don't know how things have been run. toastie made up petitions on her own, it wasn't a kroo decision, and how they work wasn't a kroo decision. kroo didn't make up how they are run or how much effect they have on them and toastie told us new things had to be done through petitions.

I think you blame too much on kroo.

Did ANYONE really even try to calmly explain the things happening with the guild, how it is slow and dying? One freaking announcement doesn't give the full message. I saw NO ONE trying to fix the guild, I saw NO ONE throwing options out.
All I saw was the merging of a couple (before the petition stuff) of forums and chaos broke loose.

I want people to voice their opinion and say what they want out of the guild.

Pixie in a previous thread you said you don't like how people should tell you what to do with the guild. Isn't that kind of the point of a democracy?!

I don't know how I feel about petitions, anymore.
I feel like they're a good idea, but that we may need to tweak them for them to actually work. I don't think it's necessary at all for crew to have their own vote on a petition for it to go to a guild vote. But, if the guild members don't want petitions - then we shouldn't have them.

The issue of "dissent in the ranks of crew" has been coming up a lot, Ginji's thread brings it up, and I just think that I should be able to say what I really feel about an issue and not have to censor myself because it's an opinion contradictory to the rest of crew.

Everyone does seem to be in a fighting mood, and maybe it's because of the state the guild is in? I wouldn't say that I consider the guild dead- I think we're far too active for me to really think that- but I guess we're in a limbo stage. This is the first time in a long time we've had an actual active kroo, and we're trying to make the guild what everyone wants it to be.
We just don't know exactly what that is, yet.
Right now we're in a kind of chaotic state, but from chaos comes order and I think in the end we'll be better for having all these conversation and falling-outs.

I definitely agree that everyone needs to calm down, and we also need to stop taking ourselves so seriously. We need to step back and realize "This is a community on the internet where people can dress their characters as little bondage fairies... this is NOT a government or official school club."

I think this thread is really good, and I really encourage people to post in it. Because in reality, what kroo should be about is getting the guild to where you guys want it to be.

So, what do you guys need us to do?

and also, no it is not. he's telling us as someone who is not trying to fix the guild how to fix the guild. that has nothing to do with guild government.

I think we should have our own reality show. It would be like the Real World, except only like 1/10 of us would have STDs.
