STORY
"Ricara. That ancient jewel of a forgotten nation. It is my dream, my goal to find it. Do you know me? If you do then you know, you think you know, my obbsession. It is no obbsession. It is a goal of mine reaching back for years. You think I am mad for beleiveing such stories.
My name is Kingman. Reeve Kingman. And I have done it.
I know how to find Ricara.
My years of searching have finally led to a real trail. All that's left is to get there. But here is my problem:
After six years of impatient huffing, my final supporters have finally lost faith in me. I am, as some of you know, disgraced within the scientific community. Wrongfully so.
But it does not matter. All I have to do to redeem myself is prove its existence. But I can't do it alone. This is a call to anyone who dreams.
I am in need of assistance.
Ricara is a river city. I need someone with a boat and a crew who knows how to use it.
OOC: 4 people needed for crew. Captain is mine.
I need someone who can help us to deal with the wildlife we may encounter.
OOC: one or two, if I get some good characters
I need a few level headed gaians with a desire for discovery. For glory.
Ooc: Four.
And finally, not surprisingly, we need protection. The animated are everywhere. Make no mistake, they will be in Ricara as well.

It will doubtlessly be dangerous. That is a given when accepting my offer. But if all goes well, you will be rewarded beyond your imagination. If not, well... failure is not an option.

1. Any and all rules of the guild and gaia must be followed.
2. Please be literate.(if its a 'that is just how that charatcer talks' then at least write well in no-speaking parts)
3. Don't kill other people's characters without permission. And please, no murder or anything, but 'accidents' do happen.
4. No excessive cursing. Come now, friends, we are better than that.
5. Before posting, send me your character info and get approved. There is a limited number of people we can use.
6. Have fun.
7. [ooc goes at the top or bottom of posts in brackets labeled ooc] Also, no posts here that are only ooc. I do find it annoying to hav to post in two seperate forums to say something simple, but big discussions go in the ooc thread]
8. No sex scene/cybering is allowed.
9. No one liners. That's just lame. ... posts I mean. You can use one liners if you really msut.(its still lame XD) but keep the posts themselves a bit longer. I won't set a paragraph limit, but use your better judgment.
10. I reserve the right to add stuff to this if there are problems.
11. Try to keep spelling good, but we won't make a big thing of it. I mess spelling and grammar stuff up too. I mean seriously, author lacks typing skills here. Just do your best and so will I.
