Monochrome Factor is about this "punk" Akira Nikaido who lives a normal life until he meets Shirogane who turns him into a shin- creature of the shadow world. And he has to fight these shadow monsters to prevent them from attacking humans. And best of all, because Akira got turned into shin... that means he no longer has a body in the human world and must depend on Shirogane as the medium to keep his body in the human world.
