Welcome to the Politicians of Gaia! And, thank you very much for joining! We hope you enjoy your time spent here, for I know we enjoy having you here. I won't go over the rules in this Announcment. For that, which is a neccesity to read, is in the next Annoucment which you are expected to read.

As you know, this is a Guild where all of you politicians can come and talk about your views. We do ask that despite youre views you have an equal amount of respect for those with your views as with those with opposing views. We do not anyone to be treated badly while here. Only you can prevent that.

Debates will be held every month and you are always welcome to sign up. We will probably have about two debates a month, and if you would like to suggest a topic for one of these such debates, please PM Drewser or myself with your ideas.

Of course, those debates will only be the official ones. As for amongst yourselves, you are always welcome to debate and have fun with it!

As I was cleaning up around the Guild, I noticed some things that bothered me. For instance, I noticed that two threads had to be locked and the posts deleted because they were either unappropriate or unpolitical. I'm hurt to see that. I want threads to remain strictly political and I ask that there is no crude fights.

When I read certain topics, I noticed that people believed their opinion to be more valuable than others. That's very dissapointing. I want everyone to respect fellow members and treat them as they want to be treated. I don't want crude comments to be made and I don't want feelings to be hurt. This Guild was made so that everyone could speak freely, without worrying what others think.

On a lighter note, I also would like to thank those members who have been loyal to the Guild and been active members. We love active members and pray for more everyday. So to you, thank you.
