Your Switch has recently become fascinated with semi-precious gems. His element, however, doesn't seem to interest him at all. Zev just seems to hover around cubiczirconia, rubies, and sapphires. Emeralds hold nothing for him. Until he sees a pendant in a store, made in the shape of a wolf's head, and carved in pure Emerald. He is now convinced he MUST have it, and keeps bothering you to buy it for him. Problem is - the necklace is FAR too expensive!

What do you do? Do you splurge and buy it? Or do you give reasons why it can't be bought? Does your Switch accept those reasons? And why did the pendant catch his eye in the first place?
