That's one of the reasons I almost never donate; unthankful people.
Think I've donated bigger sums like twice in my whole time on Gaia, and luckily they were nice people. All the beggars just made me lose interest in donating, and I never ask for anything myself, so I don't even feel bad about not giving to other than friends.

Actually you shouldn't, since the "mods" out there only seem to be interested in banning people who aren't committing bannable offences. Then again, I think we're all sick of complaining of the mods.

In related arguments, this is why there are noobs and then there are newbs. I'll help the latter, but not the former (though usually you can only make the distinction AFTER actually trying to help).

I paid 1K to play in that valentines thing where we were supposed to get a secret admirer and exchange items worth between 5 and 10K or something. I never got a message giving me my secret person or whatever. It was only 1K but still, it was a stolen 1K in my book.

If that was the case, you could have reported the user running it for scamming you. In that instance it IS reportable.
