We all know that the Mad King's War ended three years before the start of Radiant Dawn. At the beginning of Radiant Dawn, we find the Dawn Brigade fighting to liberate Daein from the Begnion Occupation Army with little luck, until they meet Prince Pelleas, the son of Mad King Ashnard. In Crimea, Elincia, now queen of Crimea, is having problems among the nobles who think she isn't good enough to be queen, and civil war threatens to break out. On the opposite side of the Desert of Death east of Daein, suddenly it's discovered that there is a country by the name of Hatari, home of the Wolf Laguz. In Begnion, the senate has taken control of the empire and forced Sanaki into exile.
But... what happened before all this?
How did the Dawn Brigade form? How did the reconstruction of Crimea go? What was life in Hatari like, secluded from the rest of the continent? How did the senate overthrow Sanaki?
The answers will be revealed here. The Story Before Radiant Dawn.

Dreadful Rules:
All general rules are enforced, as usual.
Your characters can keep the supports they have AFTER they meet in this RP.
Your character needs to be downgraded to an appropriate level or class for before the events of Radiant Dawn. For example, I'd probably put Celeste, a level 14 Halberder in A Silent World, to a level 1 or 2 Halberder, possibly even a level 18 soldier.
Going with the above, you need to downgrade your weapon level as well. In A Silent World, it's safe to say Soren has an SS rank in Wind Magic, but I'd probably take it down to C or B in this RP.
Hatari doesn't have any ties for the time being with the rest of Tellius, aside from two or three characters (I know exactly who I'm talking about) who haven't spoken a word about it. It depends on the backstory of your character.
For specific Timing, we'll start at about a year before Radiant Dawn begins, two years after the Mad King's War.

Provided you have a Character, you may post whenever!
**NOTE**
If you have a character whose appearance (sprite) changes during Radiant Dawn (and is different in A Silent World), PLEASE tell me. I'll get you a sprite that fits this RP.

Celeste wandered through the sands with a steel lance on her back, looking across the desert in the direction of her former home. Her heart ached to be back, but she didn't know if she was capable of crossing the Desert of Death again. Homesickness, a feeling she didn't experience often, hit her like a bolt of Thoron. She missed the Wolves she knew in Hatari, the Heron Prince Rafiel, and, most of all, her best and most trusted friend whom she grew up with before her parents took her to Daein en route to Gallia. She sighed and shut her eyes.
"I will return, someday," she whispered, part of her hoping he could hear her though she knew it was impossible. "I miss you. I hope you're okay... did you ever leave? Did you find your parents?"

Raevynn walked through the streets of Nevassa in a black cloak with her hood up. Her tail was wrapped around her left leg, as uncomforatble as it was. She sighed. For her entire life she'd had to do this, but now she REALLY had to be quiet.

A local businessman being harassed by the Benion Occupation Army had employed her to kill the general of the local troupe. And Raevynn couldn't blame them; one of the grunts, on the general's permission, had attempted to kidnap her. Needless to say he failed miserably.

Raevynn snuck into the local bar, where the General was sitting at the bar in a drunked stupor. With no one so much as noticing, Raevynn ran her claw along his neck, causing him to slump over, dead in his drink. Anyone in the bar would assume that he just passed out drunk. And hell, when they found out he was dead, the Daeins would cheer. Raevynn smiled and walked out of the bar. "One down. Several thousand more to go."

As Raevynn walked out of the bar, a man bumped into Raevynn, grabbing her by the arm. Without hesitation, Raevynn grabbed his arm and dug her claws in. He winced, and Raevynn said "What?"

"T-The Senator w-wishes to employ-"

"Not interested." Raevynn tossed the bleeding messenger to the ground. "Such a graceful cat such as myself will never work for a Begnion dog." Raevynn walked away, disgusted by the amount of soldiers patrolling the streets.

Someone needs to do something about this, Raevynn thought as she passed a boy working on his swordsmanship and an archer trying to help him out in a back alley. The Occupation Army won't go away unless someone acts as a catalyst. Raevynn waved at the silver-haired fortune teller that sat on the corner of the street.

And if no one else is going to do it... I guess that someone's going to be me.

User Image"KeYAAH!" Edward slashed his blade, merely an iron sword, at the air in front of him as sweat trickled into his eye. "Whoo. Hi-YAH! CHAH!" he continued his training, though there wasn't much room in the back alley where the Dawn Brigade was hiding. He reminded himself to quiet down, best not attract attention to them. He continued slicing the air until he was out of breath. He panted wordlessly, trying to calm down.
"I needed that..." he said after a moment. "So. What's our next plan? Seems like we're not in a good spot right now..."

Now, Avalbane was not hiding, per say, but he was taking more care to remain behind Cary than usual, most likely that someone would mistake him for some sort of heron, some had already. Good thing he was in much practice of running away. However, out in the busy street, Cary would not fit, so he was stuck pulling his hoodup and hoping no one would notice his startlingly white hair, even now long wisps found their way out of the dark fabric. Paying a street vendor (he was proud to say he didn't sound too meek when paying), he wandered over to a corner eat in peace. not many people were around, except some people farther back in the alleyway, but he didn't mind them. They made no move toward him, he made no motion he saw them. Besides, he had a minor fear of the dark and enclosed spaces.

Sothe rushed into the alley, almost running into Edward. "Ah, sorry," he panted, one hand holding an iron knife. "Where's Micaiah!?" he asked worriedly, his voice cracking as he said it. "Soldiers spotted me and I need to get her out of here."

User ImageEdward sidestepped as Sothe nearly ran into him. He tried to stifle a laugh as the thief's voice cracked, but he knew he was well on his way toward that time of life as well. He looked around for the Silver Haired Maiden.
"She was here a moment ago... maybe she saw the soldiers coming and left. But why wouldn't she tell us?"

((Seems I need to go bug the person playing Micaiah))

Looking at the two worried boys jumping around in the back of the alleyway, Avalbane attempted to push his hood farther up. Key word is attempted.
Thanks to the crazy wind, his hood flopped down to his shoulders, all his white flying out around his girlish face.

Raevynn had just purchased some supplies for a little mayhem she was going to cause the Begnion soldiers, when a gust of wind nearly blew her hood off. She swore in the ancient language, putting a hand firmly on top of her head. If anyone in Daein saw her ears, she'd be in trouble.

And apparently she wasn't the only one; a boy just behind her in the alley made his hood fly off, spilling long white hair around his oung face. Raevynn took a whiff; he was a parentless.

Raevynn bit her lip. The people of Daein were judgmental; just because of his oddly colored hair and young face, they would assume he was a laguz. She had seen it before. She was the only one in the area that wouldn't care, so she acted.

She walked towards the boy (on the side he was looking on) and helped him get his hood on. "Follow me into the alley," Raeynnn guided the boy into the alley; there were two young boys at the other end, but they probably wouldn't mind them.

"You might want to be a little more careful. The citizens, maybe even the Begnion soldiers might mistake you for a laguz. Try wearing a ponytail. It'll keep your hair in the hood better."

Blushing furiously, Avalbane did as the Laguz woman suggested, and found his hair stayed better. His face was a different matter. Rather savagely for his angelic appearance, he clawed at his face, lowering his head, hoping in some way to bring color to his colorless cheeks.

User ImageSothe looked up and down the alley, his movements antsy. "I really hope that they didn't catch her," he said, adjusting his white scarf absentmindedly.

User Image"Same. Without her, we'll never get close to liberating Daein. Not that we have much of a chance as it is, but at least we're trying!" Edward agreed, then looked down the alley and froze.
"Sothe, we've got company," he whispered as he saw the two cloaked people on the other side of said alley.

Feeling eyes on his back, Avalbane turned sharply, his face full of fear, which was normal, but the cat woman's warning was still rather fresh in his mind.

Raevynn noticed the two at the end of the alley looking at them. "By Yune..." she muttered. The disadvantage of always wearing a cloak is that you look suspicious. Always.

"Relax, little one," Raevynn told the boy, putting her hands on his shoulders. "If they try to attack I'll handle it. I'm more than a match for most humans anyway."
