You KNOW things have gotten serious when Luffy yells that failure=death, especially after stopping so many people from letting themselves die. Poor Luffy. I felt more sorry for Luffy in this chapter than I was for Ace (I felt happy for Ace. He's finally twigged that people love him for who he is, which is a very good thing), as Luffy has, pretty much, just said that he'd rather kill himself than lose. This is friggin' LUFFY we're talking about. I understand him risking his life for something, but out-and-out talk of suicide saddens me. crying

I agree with Killer. I think Whitebeard is gonna kick it. I doubt Ace will since he's now had is little epiphany that there are people who care about him regardless of his linage. I just hope no one else is in that line of fire.
