Elen
N. term for an archaea-gaean (human)

Auldelen
N. - The native name for the humanoid fiends who possess inhumane qualities. This normally refers to them as a whole.
Adj. - Anything referring to the Auldelen species or planet.

Alibi
N. - The common name of the Auldelens given to them by humans. Auldelens normally find it as an insult and prefer to be called by their native name.

Pureblood
N. - An Audelen who has complete ancestry from one tribe.
N. - When put on par with halflings or humans, sometimes it refers to an Auldelen not in any way related to a human.

Kyrin
N. - An Auldelen god. However, this god is believed by most to be a heresy, and those that believe thusly normally believe in the Greek gods, which will be explained later in the story. Sometimes, Auldelens can believe in both.

Star of ???, ex. Star of Hermes
From time to time, Auldelens believe that certain qualities are so because they were born under a godly star. There is no set graph to determine whether they were born there or not, but if one bears such strange qualities since birth, they are believed to be blessed by such god for being born under that constellation. The birth of such Auldelens are rare, and it can’t be determined whether an Auldelen is born under a star or not unless there is proof.
Proof can show in different ways, but the Gods often leave blessings, which bring forth abilities by that Auldelen. Halflings are also granted this ability. There is one slot available for each Greek God, whether they are well-known or not. Usually, Auldelens also believe that the god is fond of that certain Auldelen, therefore gifting them.
The theory behind Auldelens born under such a star begin from archaea-gaea, when Auldelens did not live in their current planet, neo-gaea. It was said that before they coexisted with humans (Elen), they were, in fact, humans themeslves. They lived in the times when Greek mythology was widely believed among the area of Greece, and there was a rebellion of some sort that exiled a large group of humans. These humans were said to have crossed the mirror path to Auldelen, and by some strange miracle, survived. The planet, at the time, was green and bountiful, though cold, and these groups of humans evolved into the Auldelens.
Through this, the gods favored the exiled, the Auldelens, and at times, blessed them.

Halfling
N. - A half-human, half Auldelen. They’re often looked down upon, and those that are halflings normally tend to hide it in order to prevent discrimination. Normally, the difference can’t be told unless they cringe, blush, or do some sort of human gesture. Another human quality that the halflings try to avoid is following their instinct---as Auldelens don’t have instinct or believe in it.

Hybrid
N. - An Auldelen born through crossbreeding of two different tribes. Hybrids are considered commonfolk, but all in all, aren’t treated much differently than pureblood Auldelens. They’re said to be more robust and strong, but that’s a lie---it all depends, as usual. Once again, if they are compared to halflings, they may call themselves purebloods. Hybrids are normally recognized by having opaque hair colors, something that purebloods normally lack.

Exalt, exalted, exalted form
Vb., N. - Auldelens, when normal, don’t look much different from humans. However, what sets them apart anatomically is the fact that they can exalt. These exalted forms take different appearances depending on the tribe, and in these forms, they can fly, fight, or use certain abilities.
Auldelens do not need to fully exalt---sometimes they can only bring forth claws and leave wings alone, for example.

The Auldelen diet.
The Auldelens seldom eat. They eat, at the least, once a month---to be honest, they only eat when their movements become somewhat sluggish or lethargic, and it all depends on the Auldelen at hand.
When they do eat, however, their diet is infinite. Unless it is indigestable (i.e. - rock), it may get them sick. However, they can eat anything as long as it is still alive. Auldelens feed on life itself, and thusly, there’s normally more life in internal organs of certain organisms. An Auldelen is considered lucky if they get to eat the heart of something. It doesn’t matter what size it is---as long as it has much life, their hunger is quenched. Sometimes, in desperation, they can even turn cannibalistic and eat others of their kind.
Auldelens can also eat human food, though it’s only for the sake of taste. Such as when Ilene and Heath ate cake and…but that’s a totally different story.
However, Auldelens drink water and sleep as often as we do.
Halflings, however, eat as often as humans and can also live off of dead food.

Oracle
N. - Exactly what it sounds like. Being an oracle is even more rare than being born under a star, though Auldelen oracles are normally burdened by their ability---though they are blessed, they are revered incessantly but normally used as objects. They normally live a lonely life.

Archaea-gaea
N. - The term for the planet humans (Elen) inhabit in the saga. Pretty much Mars in the distant past.

Neo-gaea
N. - The term for the planet Auldelens inhabit in the saga. Pretty much Earth in the distant past.
